When I was looking for a pizza cutter, I wanted one that wasn't a "wheel" so that it would be easy to clean.This nifty cutter does just the trick. It folds away on itself for storage meaning that the super sharp blade is protected from damage and away from your fingers when rumaging in the drawer.Once open it "locks" into position to be rocked backwards and forwars over the pizza to cut it. As the blade is really sharp it cuts really well first time, unlike previous experience I have had with pizza cutting wheels. It's also easy to apply pressure for thick pizza due to the robust handle to lean on.I would definitely recommend this for any pizza lover (or even the occassional pizza eater!)

The blade is not really very sharp. To cut through a pizza, you have to REALLY push through. However, I'm afraid to do that because the finishing on the product is horrible. On both ends of the blade, where it is attached to the base - you can see the soldering. They did not smooth it out - just painted over it. It looks horrible and really very cheap. I'm terribly disappointed. I would be embarrassed to have this knife out in front of guests. I'd recommend you not to purchase this item.

Use as a pizza cutter or hachoir/mezzaluna. Excellent design means the blade swivels back into the handle, thereby preventing damage to blade or rummaging fingers in the knife draw.

I saw this item in a newspaper it was well recommended and so I bought it as a treat for myself and am very pleased with purchase .

Very sharp, cuts through pizza very well. I like the cover as it is safer to store in a drawer.

Cuts pizza, garlic bread and much more so easily. No dragging as with a knife. I find it safer than a knife.

Das Teil kommt komplett stumpf an, und das ist so gemeint, das die Klinge gut einen Millimeter dick ist, also... komplett stumpf! Es tut dennoch seinen Dienst an der Pizza, leider mit mehr Kraftaufwand als erwartet... schleifen mit Wassersteinen dauert ewig, nicht zu empfehlen. mit Aufsätzen für die Bohrmaschine geht es mit Sicherheit schneller, aber das ist nicht mein Ding, ich bevorzuge "vernünftige" Stähle.Tut was es tuen soll... allerdings könnte man auch ebensogut eine Trennscheibe auf einer Bohrmaschine benutzen, bei dem einem muß man Drücken, bei dem anderen höllisch aufpassen, nicht auch den Tisch zu durchtrennen... insofern ist das stumpfe Ding sogar im Vorteil.

Man kann sehr gut schneiden, weil er einen richtigen Griff hat.Und in der Schublade wird er "eingeklappt" und man kann sich nicht verletzen.

Die Idee ist toll: Ein Pizzaschneider wie ein Klappmesser. Sieht gut aus, nimmt wenig Platz weg, keine Verletzungsgefahr beim Greifen in die Schublade: Dafür zahlt man gern auch mal den einen oder anderen Euro mehr.Leider ist die Klinge von denkbar schlechter Qualität. Ca. 1 mm dick kann man damit keine Pizza zerschneiden, nur zerdrücken. Also den Pizzaschneider zum Schleifer eingeschickt, kam rasiermesserscharf zurück. Und rostet seitdem.Fazit: Finger weg, ist sein Geld nicht wert!
