Works great and has protected my phone well
I applied one of these screen protectors a little over a year ago. I use it with a Spiegen case (This one, I think: Spiegen Neo Hybrid, but I bought it locally because I needed it right away. Highly recommended: https://www.amazon.com/Spigen-Herringbone-Flexible-Protection-Reinforced/dp/B0746Z1KYN/) I dropped my phone several times. The first time, my 3 year old daughter actually dropped it (well, she was 2 at the time) onto rocky dirt that was almost gravel... In my opinion, gravel is the worst place to drop a device because all the uneven rock surfaces are bad on the screens (as I found out with my iPad when its case flew open when I dropped it on gravel and decimated the unprotected screen). So, the SuperShieldz screen protector on my phone cracked. I hoped it was just the protector and not the screen, and I was actually scared to take the protector off and check my screen on my fairly new Google Pixel 2, so I just left the broken protector on. For about a year. And dropped the phone lots of times after that. Probably not the smartest thing to protect your screen with a broken screen protector. But I just finally took the time to put a new protector on the screen, and the phone's screen is in perfect shape. Yay! The protector did its job, and my phone feels brand new again. The video for installing the screen protector is very helpful, as is their installation method. It's easier than any other protector I've installed. There's a small gap between the protector and the Spiegen case, but that allows the case to fit, and apparently it wasn't a problem for the dozens of drops this phone experienced, even with a broken screen protector. The protector fits well on all the openings of my Google Pixel 2, no problem. I am super pleased with this screen protector and will definitely be buying more. Thanks, SuperShieldz!

It's fine. Like any tempered glass screen "protector"
Quick version: it's just fine. Works with cases, won't save your screen from a bad face down drop (nor will any other). Optical clarity is fine. Touch sensitivity is fine. You should have no issues. Long version: ok, I think tempered glassed screen protectors are stupid. BUT I did wear the anti smudge off my pixel 2 so I figured this might help. If you don't know what you are doing just let a friend install it. Same for uninstall. It's easy to get off. That said - anti-smudge is just so-so. But it's ok, will it last? I don't know. Will come back and knock off a star or 2 if it doesn't. Install is easy. I can't figure out why people are talking about bubbles? You poor things.. never had to use distilled water and a credit card as a squeegee. This is simple as it gets, no idea why the maker even mentions bubbles. First of all, clean your screen. Even before you order. If you sneezed on it or spit while you are using video chat or just spilled a beer on it, get the gunk off. Best to do it now. If you use alcohol or, my favorite, a DILUTED simple green solution, you should be able to get the screen clean and now you have time for any residue you left on to off-gas before you get the product. So now you have the screen. The microfiber cloth included isn't bad. You shouldn't need the other stuff. Power off the phone and wipe down that screen good. Get under a light. It should look like a black mirror.. no specs or anything. Make it perfect. Not hard. You don't need a clean room, just stay out from under fans and stuff. Put it on an angle under lights and look for anything that's "off" and correct. When you think the screen is perfect, follow instructions and align best you can at the top. Use something like a wooden or plastic toothpick or whatever (lint/dust free!) at the bottom to keep it from fully connecting. Now check the bottom and adjust as needed.. you can freely do that at this point. Take your time and once aligned remove toothpick or whatever and let it drop. Use cloth and smoosh it down from one side to the other. Bubbles? What bubbles? How do you get bubbles? Done! If you need to remove, heat it a bit with a hair dryer (or leave it out in the sun). You don't need a heat gun. And you get 2 so if you screwed up try again! I wasn't given anything for this review.. but if seller would like to send me some screens for my 4a that would be great! haha. I did find it amusing that this is so simple and it's like crazy reviews. If you are trying to extend the life or your pixel2 it can't hurt. It's about the most simple thing you can do. Changing the battery, that's another story.

Good protector; take your time getting it on; use a flashlight
Unfortunately I cracked my Pixel 2. Fortunately it was at the very top above the top speaker and the cut-out for the speaker stopped the cracks from spreading. I figured it was time to get a screen protector to protect the screen and try to limit the damage. This looked like a nice one. So far I haven't been disappointed. The black top of the screen protector largely (but not 100%) covered up where my screen was cracked. You just have to get it on right. Watch the video they tell you to watch! And make sure you get it on as perfectly as you can because it won't cover the curved portions of the screen. The sticker "hinges" REALLY help and make it easier to get on right. The main thing I would add to the installation is to use a can of compressed air if you have it as that can help blow away dust... but even more important is to use a bright flashlight to shine on the screen at an angle to see dust that you wouldn't otherwise see (to remove with air or the provided dust removal sticker). The flashlight is tremendously helpful... at least it was for me. It is VERY important to get rid of all the dust. If there's one thing I can't stand is a speck of dust trapped under a screen protector creating a bubble or some other anomaly. As for the screen itself, it is very slick but I do think it's a little more reflective and it picks up finger smudges a little easier. Fortunately the smudges come off easily. These things are not a big deal because so far I'm really happy that it looks like I won't need to pay a bunch of money to repair my screen or attempt a repair myself to save $$$. Screen sensitivity to touch is great. I did not notice any change. As for the complaints about a rainbow or oil slick effect, I have not noticed that at all on mine. So unless something changes I am happy with this screen protector and getting 2 of them in the pack for not a lot of money is a nice plus in case something should happen and I need another one. UPDATE 2018-05-24: I'm going to reduce my rating to 4 stars. It's still a good protector but the greater reflections and attraction to fingerprints and smears probably means the coating isn't as good as the one on the original screen. I still recommend it though. While I was examining my screen closely after using my phone without a protector for months, I did notice that the screen had some scratches on it (fortunately they were relatively minor though). If you want to keep your screen from getting scratched, especially if you put it in your pocket with your keys or in a sandy environment, then definitely get a screen protector if you want to protect against scratches.

Very good. I'm pleasantly surprised.
I am very pleasantly surprised. After looking at screen protector reviews on countless brands and seriously questioning the authenticity of many of them, this product looked like the best gamble. But I have own several different smart phones in the last three years and tried loads of screen protectors so I know some of the highly rated ones can still turn out to be junk. I wasn't getting my hopes up. But I managed to get this affixed to my Pixel 2 display on the first try. There were no bits of debris already embedded in the glass. I see no bubbles. It's sized well to fit properly. I can't remember if I used the wipes included with the package. I have gone through so many crap products that I have an abundance of alcohol wipes and tiny microfiber cloths available, in addition to my own set of good quality cloths. So I can't comment on the quality of included accessories. I also by now have so much experience at installing these things that I can just do it freehand and by looking at where the holes need to match up to the camera, speaker and sensors. So I don't use alignment accessories. This review is strictly for the tempered glass itself. So far it works fine with two cheap cases I got on Amazon. One is a clear TPU case and one is silicone with a hard plastic shell. Sensitivity is fine. Fingerprints wipe clear easily. I guess my only negative observation is that it's a bit more reflective than the naked screen. Not horribly so, but enough for me to notice the difference. It should provide good scratch protection. I don't know how much impact protection it can provide because it's thin glass. That's not a bad thing. You don't want a glass that's too thick and interferes with touch see sensitivity and haptic feedback. Oh and the black part of the protectors blend perfectly with the black bezels. Just make sure you align everything very carefully so that no part of the black frame obstructs your display. Update: I had an accident and my phone display was smacked up on something hard. The screen protector was smashed in the edge and cracked to the middle but to my relief the phone display underneath was unharmed. I happily ordered a replacement and a backup set as well.

Incredible Value and Quality
I love these so much I stocked up and bought a few packages. When I bought my P2 from Google I also bought the glass screen protector... for $40!! That one worked well, fit great, but had the dot grid which I didn't like, great touch and look, but it broke on a small fall to a wood floor. It may have saved my screen, but it's $40 to replace. Enter these. You get 2 for $8, and they are EVERY BIT AS GOOD AS THE $40 ONE. They also do not have the dot grid the $40 one has, so it looks better. Touch response is perfect, fittage is perfect. Installation was super easy. The adhesive is great and even allowed me to do a slight readjustment as I applied it to my phone. Once installed these don't budge, no adhesive issues at all. I'm also very uptight about how a screen protector looks, and these are perfect. As I said, I bought another pack, they're that good and given the flaky reviews on so many other brands, I don't want to have to roll the dice if I go through a few of these. If I experience any unfavorable issues I'll weigh back in.

Feels, great, works great, and protects the screen
I always put a screen protector and case around my phone. There are many types and designs out there, I prefer the glass one. SuperShieldz was a very easy installation. The fit is good and there was no need to worry about bubbles like some of the film protectors. Once on, it feels just like the regular screen. Touch and visibility are not affected. Most important - it works. As you can see from the picture, the screen got hit by a sharp point (got around the lip of the case). The protector cracked, but the phone itself doesn't have a scratch on. The $4 item got damaged to protect the $500 phone. The second protector that came in the pack is now on and the phone is as good as new

It will provide the protection you're looking for
The screen protector market has been heavily saturated, and it only takes a short check on FakeSpot to realize many of the reviews you're finding are untrustworthy. I decided to go with the Supershieldz protector because it had some of the most reliable reviews. Overall, I expect the protector to do its job, but I feel like there are some design flaws that force me to drop it to 3 stars (mainly that it doesn't adhere to the entire screen). Pros: - It's tempered glass. It's the best you can get when it comes to screen protection. - It's perfectly fitted to the Pixel 2. - Installation was simple. Cons: - It only has adhesive on the black edges. This can create air pockets under the screen, which then create the rainbow effect that some users are talking about. I took the advice of another review, and popped up an edge with just a fingernail and the air popped out; however, it appears the protector must be at odds with my case, because it comes back every now and then. Ultimately, this will decrease the longevity of the product because eventually the adhesive will fail, and I'll be forced to replace it, whereas my previous phone had a screen protector that adhered to the entire screen, and I used it for almost two years without replacing. It's for these reasons that I'm giving 3 stars. - This is personal preference, but I'm not a fan of the black edges. We're talking about a phone that's already gorgeous. I'm not sure I understand why manufacturers are going with this design. If your placement is even a little off, it can be obvious.

Very Satisfied With The Look & Feel on my Pixel 2
I was initially turned off to this screen protector by the black borders, as I thought it would look bad. I originally bought a different tempered glass protector here on Amazon (that had great reviews). Those ended up looking so bad around the edges, where you could clearly see the edges not sticking to the curved glass on the Pixel 2, I removed it after a couple of weeks. I bought a pack of these Supershieldz and applied one to mine and one to my daughter's phone. The application was super easy, though I didn't use the hinge method recommended. On both devices I initially had a small spot right in the middle of the screen that had the oil slick rainbow look. It couldn't be smoothed out like an air bubble, but I had hoped it would go away with time. The spot on mine grew after a few days and became a rather large rectangle in the middle of my screen. I became so annoyed with it, I was ready to scrap this screen protector too. I stuck my nail just under the very edge of the protector, there was a quick pop and it looked like the spot just got sucked out to where my nail was. I released it and just like that the spot was gone, just some trapped air, I guess. I looked at my daughter's phone and she still had the original spot. I did the same thing to hers and the spot was gone too! I could not be more happy with the look and feel of these protectors! The work great in my Speck case and my daughter's OtterBox. You can barely even tell there is a screen protector on the phone. I removed the case from my phone and it still looks good! I can't speak to the long term durability yet, but so far so good with these screen protectors! UPDATE (11/9/2018) - 8+ months later and both my daughter and myself are still on our original screen protectors. I have managed to get one small scratch on the bottom black part of mine (barely noticable and not bothersome at all) and my daughter's still looks good as new. I don't think I have ever had a screen protector that has lasted this long without either being broken or looking weathered to the point where I pull it off out of disgust!
