Hand Cream

This is the first time buying this brand or scent. Instant love. I'm actually pretty sensitive to perfumes, but this particular scent is a soft, gentle lemon. My husband was hugging me and said "mmm what's that?" "Oh just some new lemon hand creme".."mmmm lemon good!". So it passed the husband's test! I love the scent,nbut quality of this creme is exceptional. Shea butter makes this creamy and smooth I have very dry skin cause i live in the desert. Non greasy. Good quality cream. Nice fragrance - true lavender scent. Non-greasy. I like the flip top cap - easy to use and handy in the car.

My favorite lavender hand cream doubled in price, so I looked for an alternative and settled on this one. JR Watkins is a well-established name with a reputation for quality. The cream is nice, but I'm not fond of the scent. There are many different kinds of lavender, and this one is not my favorite.

This handcream not only absorbs quickly and without any greasiness but it smells exactly like lemon meringue pie! The best thing is….its rated excellent on the Yuka app!

I have really dry skin, partly because I take a chemo med for autoimmune issues that really dehydrated me no matter how much water I drink. Other lotions I bought were either too greasy and just sat on the surface of my skin OR simply weren’t hydrating enough. But this hand cream is my absolute favorite now. It is super moisturizing, but is also fully absorbed by my skin very quickly. It’s honestly impressive. There was a nearly immediate, extremely noticeable difference in the condition of my skin after I started using this. This lotion even seemed to solve a related issue I was having where my dead skin cells just refused to be shed, no matter how much I scrubbed in the shower or how much of my normal body lotion I applied. Sorry if it’s TMI, but literally minutes after applying this for the first time on my arms, I was able to basically just wipe off that dead layer of my skin, revealing much softer and more supple skin underneath. This is an issue that has been plaguing me for over a year that was seemingly solved in one day. Additionally, I find that the scent is very pleasant. It weirdly reminds me of Froot Loops at first, but in the best way possible. It’s just got that nice citrus-forward, sweet fragrance, and as it dries down the scent gets mellower and more creamy as the lemon settles into the background. It’s definitely got a gourmand scent imo, but it’s not cloyingly sweet or artificial. It just genuinely smells like madeleines with lemon curd or something. I think the Shea butter is largely responsible for the creamy, vanilla-like scent that develops after a couple minutes. It’s very nice, I find myself smelling my hands for like an hour after I apply it because it’s just so delicious! It doesn’t have a strong throw at all once absorbed, the scent fades to only be detectable if someone is inches from your skin, so it hopefully shouldn’t annoy people around you unless they are severely intolerant to fragrance.

It's absolutely great. It comes out thick but it's easy to rub it in and it smells good. My hands get chapped in the winter really quickly, and the minute I put this on, it worked magic. I have tried loads of other moisturizers and nothing works as good as compared to this one. Also, It stands really nicely. You only need to put a little on at time though. Although, my hands are kind of small.

Received my Watkins hand cream today. Sadly disappointed. Have been using this hand cream (lavender, lemon, and coconut scents) for years...LOVED it! Nothing better. Used to buy it locally, but it has slowly disappeared from stores in my area. This time I went to the Watkins website, and it directed me to the Amazon store to purchase products. I purchased the lavender and lemon hand creams. The lemon smells the same, but the lavender is pitiful...hardly any fragrance at all, nothing like it was. As for the quality of the hand cream (both scents), it's not the same either. The texture is thinner, and provides nothing like the fabulous moisturization it used to. Sigh. Long-time customer lost, Watkins. What a shame.

I am loving this hand cream! It is thick and a little goes a long way. Makes your hands feel silky soft, even after washing your hands. This coconut & honey line is wonderful and I highly recommend it.👍

Bought this after reading the reviews but it did not live upto the hype. The cream smells amazing...like lemon soufflé, but it did not moisturise my hands at all. Did not find it value for money at all.
