This was great. Used it the last week of December on a trip. It did NOT leave my fine hair greasy. I was only in the sun for a few days, and I wore a hat. So I can’t speak to what my colored hair may look like in the summer. Usually my color turns very brassy in the sun. So far, I’m impressed.

PROS: Doesnt build up, get sticky, or *leave white cast. No assaulting fragrance. CONS: no evidence of its existence after it dries....should be a pro right? not really. CONCLUSION: UV protection for scalp/hair is a fantastic concept and seriously necessary. But Im left with more Q's than A's As someone with dark strong hair and doesnt get scalp burn, how do i really know its doing anything for my strands? Furthermore, how much do I even use to achieve such protection? Also, mineral sunscreens are notorious for white cast....this has no white cast....nor anything resembling a white cast Personally, i feel i waisted money. This could just be fancy water and id have no way of knowing. And after the EPA sunscreen study, im even more skeptical. Ill give them 4 ★ because I have nothing concrete to penalize them over except for maybe the lack of information on the bottle. But i think this is nonsense. WARNING- always keep zinc oxide away from dogs!!

I buoght the product because I bought it because I had it for my vacation. I applied it with the confidence that it would provide me with the sun protection it offered. I used it on myself and my 5 year old daughter to protect our scalp from the sun, (we need it because we have little hair), my husband did not want to use it, at the end of the day after having reapplied the product 2 more times as a precaution, I I already felt an extra uncomfortable sensation and when I decided to look at my head in the mirror and that of my daughter, our scalps were completely red, burned, hurt and burned, something like this had never happened to us, it was much worse than if we had not used any product, (literally fried our scalp). My husband's head looked a little pink but nothing to worry about. He looked much better and she didn't have any product applied.
