Want to make nut milk? Than this is your device! My wife is all vegan (me somewhat) and she loves various nut milks (macadamia, almond, flax and some others) We had been using a blender. But alas it would take forever and it needed to be done in small increments or it would never fully blend it. And rest assured we have a quality blendtec 500$ blender. I figured giving a purpose built one a shot and bam all problems solved. It works sooo much better, quicker and you dont have to make it in batches!! Incoming pros/consPros:-Sooo much better than any blender-Makes nut milk very quicky.-Fresh nut milk taste so much better-Compact and very well made-Tons and tons of power-Easy simple useCons:-It sounds like the space shuttle is about to take off in my kitchenWhile it is loud, what blender or food processor isnt. It only runs for a couple minutes tops so the sound is bearable. And not to mention worth it for how well it works. Too add into this if youve only ever had store bought nut milk, than youre missing out because it taste terrible. Making your own is sooo much tastier. Granted it doesnt last long as it has no preservatives so if you want it everyday you will be making it a few a times a week.

I wasn't too sure about this model, but I wanted to give it a try because all the added "extra" ingredients in commercial almond milk to extend it's shelf life. Unfortunately, if one is already sensitive due to allergies, every extra ingredient added increases the potential for an allergic reaction. This becomes an ideal solution for making milk from non-dairy raw materials. Very satisified with its operation. Didn't take long to set up and learn how to make almond milk with it.

This is like a mini blender. It is fairly powerful for it's size and does a good job. It comes with a filter and some instructions. The stuff it makes is pretty good, and you can add the flavors to it to change it up a bit. Certain nuts have better flavor but it can get expensive. It is great for smaller amounts like cream for coffee but it would be a lot of work if you wanted to make some milk for cereal, especially if you were doing it for more than one.

First few things, my intent, my experience, my expectations. I was hoping to be able to craft some flavorful nut based milk alternatives for use in my protein shake mixtures that would help perhaps save money or improve flavoring and not be too cumbersome.Making some flavorful alternatives - CHECK! Yes, this wasn't too hard to achieve yet initial use, setup, and such like that did take a small bit of time as this was all new to me. That said, the few time, or even second, didn't yield great consistency in my results and it wasn't till I read somewhere someone suggesting trying to run it twice (or two cycles thank you by the way) and it oddly worked a bit. Something though I hadn't considered was how different protein powders would (lets say) dissolve with the newly created milk alternative, topic for another day but it was mixed.Now, cost wise, so from a starter perspective to get flavoring the only real solution I seen what was is offered from the maker, and it does taste good (well the mocha, strawberries, and chocolate one does) but I don't know if costs long term or effective if this is my only flavoring source or something can be done more home recipe based, still working on this.Clean up, well, the machine itself isn't too bad here however, you'll some extras kitchen utensils as well so its not a simple kind of, throw things in, blend it, drop in dishwasher, done. A touch more than this but from my learning (so far) that is about how most systems are anyway so its par for the course here.I'd say to learn or experiment more in this area the machine is decent, fairly priced, and if your looking to dabble its fairly user friendly and easy to follow.

I am the only person in my home who does not drink cow milk, so if I wanted cereal or hot chocolate in the past I had to buy a carton of plant based milk at the store. And that’s a lot of milk for one person! The two cup max output of the NUTR is plenty for me.Plus I didn’t like the weird ingredients in the plant based milk purchased in the store, so being able to control the ingredients (and making not milk of my choice) is a wonderful thing.The NUTR was a big problem solver for me. It’s easy to use the machine and there are a ton of creative milk creation ideas online if you don’t want to use the enclosed flavored milk additives.Keep in mind that the milk will be pretty hot straight out of the machine, which is awesome for beverages but not always what I want for a bowl of cereal.The machine is pretty easy to clean as long as you clean it right after you empty the milk out of it. Since the milk is pretty hot if you pour the milk out and let the machine stand for a while the residual heat kind of bakes the milk residue to the machine which isn’t a big deal, but it will take a little extra elbow grease to get the machine clean.I wish the NUTR was available in pretty colors. My machine is black, which is not a complaint but just a suggestion for the NUTR company in the future.

I've only recently become aware of nut milk makers for the home. My daughter is an almond milk drinker, and she has completely replaced all cow's milk with nut milks. This machine is reasonably easy to learn to use, although there is a learning curve to learn to use it well. It will make nearly any nut milk you can think of, along with many plant milks like flax and oat. My daughter still buys the occasional bottle of almond milk, but this machine has significantly reduced her need to do so. She loves it. This bundle comes with a Nutr Blend Variety Pack.
