When I first received this blanket I washed it by itself in cold water with detergent. I did not use a fabric softener or a fabric sheet. I air dried it completely and then put it in my dryer on air fluff for 10 minutes. No shedding and it came out just like I received it. I was concerned about shedding with some of the reviews but I had no issues with that whatsoever. It's warm yet lightweight. I didn't want anything that would make me overly hot because I'm always hot anyway. It takes that cool edge off when you still want your overhead fan on. My daughter said she likes it better than the one she has. I can't remember the brand. I feel it has a good quality. Just make note to wash it as instructed and it'll hold up well and look just as nice as the way you bought it. I'm not sure how the other reviewers that didn't leave 5 stars washed there's, but it couldn't have been the correct way.

Thin but keeps me warm as a second blanket on very cold nights as my bed is near a sliding door where it can be drafty. I'm happy with the purchase and a great price too! Covers the full KS bed with extra overhang on the sides. Soft fabric and nice coffee color.

Wash/dry by itself. Leaves lint on anything and everything that is washed and dried with it. Kiddo learned the hard way. Loves the blanket and it's feel and color but was disappointed with the left-over pills on the rest of her items from that 1 load. Soft, fluffy and lavender. Great for her dorm!

I really like how soft it is and the way it can keep you warm. The one thing that bugs me is that it sheds alot. So it lashes onto your clothes which can transfer onto the couch and other areas around the space. And I bought a red one, so I see little red shedding in my office, bathroom, kitchen, and etc. Even on my cat! Which is amusing because I'm use to my cat's shedding, but the blanket out shed my cat is very funny and interesting. Get the blanket, but get ready to use the broom, vacuum, and lint roller. Lol!

Honestly? I wasn’t expecting much for the price, but hoping this blanket would be “good enough”. I am completely blown away by this blanket! Super soft, perfect weight, and does not shed. It does NOT shed!!! I got the red in king/cali king and I HIGHLY recommend this blanket! Money well spent!

So glad I ordered one of these! This is SUCH a FLUFFY blanket!! I love it! They should make one with Sherpa as well just to make one that is extra thick for very cold places like ND and Alaska! I bought this for a summer blanket because I was buying blankets without Sherpa for the summer….but I think this will have to be one of my winter blankets. It’s very thick even without the Sherpa! I’m in love! I MUST buy another! I only wish they had brighter colors. But the lilac color I bought is very pretty. I don’t understand what other people are saying in other reviews about shedding etc. I washed this blanket in warm water and dried it on a warm setting and I had no shedding whatsoever. I had bought a brand new orange micro fleece blanket that I washed at the same time and there was only orange lint in the drier screen after I got them out of the drier, NO lilac lint AT ALL. It’s a fabulous blanket! I DO use no dye, no perfume laundry detergent. Maybe that’s it? But I doubt it. Anyway, I highly recommend! Beautiful blanket!

The cover is very soft and a great size. The only bad thing is that it sheds awfully. It sticks to anything and very hard to get it out of carpet.
