Baharat Spice 2.0 oz - Zamouri Spices

This spice is perfect and exactly what I have been looking for and missing all of this time! Lots of cinnamon just like I was hoping, the perfect amount. I have used this spice for bamia, moghrabieh, and shawarma, and plan to use it for many more recipes, I have missed this food dearly. If you want to make restaurant-quality homemade shawarma and other staple Middle Eastern foods, this is the secret.

I got this to use with baked eggplant and I love the flavor it gives to this vegetable. I got a small packet of this in a meal plan that I subscribe to and when I used it I had to have more of it. The price is a bit steep but I thought that it was worth it because the flavor was so different I had to have it. I'll probably have it for years as I'm not sure how else I'll use it at this point but the oiled, salted and baked eggplant was yummy. And I added onions and tomatoes when I baked it and it was delicious. It would be nice if the company packed some recipes along with the spice so we could really get the most out of this.

Obviously all spice blends will have different flavor spectrums. This one is great and undoubtedly authentic, but had a bit too much cinnamon for my taste. Otherwise very yummy and everyone loved the kebabs.

This is my second bottle of the Zamouri baharat seasoning and I like it for my chicken and rice dishes and to season ground beef when making Mediterranean-style wraps. I know this might be weird, but put a dash of it in your oatmeal with brown sugar and milk and you've got a very tasty hot breakfast cereal! Also pretty awesome in coffee.

Wow, this 7 Spice is really, really good. I used it for my stuffed grape leaves, and it added so much delicious flavor. I just added it to a breakfast burrito that my husband made, and wow, really good.
