Great project and customer support
Worked great, even called the company to clarify a few things since was using for the first time on a new vehicle. Just wanted to double make sure dosing etc. Product worked great! Didnt leave any noticeable residue or any marks.

This stuff works!
I saw some reviews online but was pretty skeptical, if it worked like they claimed. Upon using it with the foam cannon, I could see how well it was already starting to neutralize the white film from the salt. I then finished washing and drying the vehicle. The next day, when it was all dry. Looking at the underside, there were no signs of any salt.Whatsoever.

Quality mixing unit doesn’t leak under pressure!
I’ve been using a less expensive alternative to Salt Away for several years. I’ve been satisfied with the cheaper solution, but extremely frustrated with the other companies mixing units. They have all leaked terribly (at best), or many times they simply blew apart under pressure. I decided to give the Salt Away mixing unit a shot, and bought the complete kit so I could also try the solution. The Salt Away mixing unit feels like a much nicer unit, and is definitely better constructed. The unit did not leak a drop while in use. I attribute this to higher quality plastic, and the fact that the O-ring seal is retained in a groove (as O-rings should be) and not just stuck into the lid to be squeezed when the lid is tightened. As far as the solution goes, I can’t vouch for its efficacy, but it did produce quite a bit of foam when I ran it through the engine, something the cheaper alternative did not do. Is this good or bad? I don’t know, but if the quality of the mixing unit is any indication of the quality of the solution, then this is a better product. I’m sticking with Salt Away going forward, even with the greater cost, which for my entire boating season won’t amount to more than $50. Money well spent to maintain two very expensive engines!
