I love this stuffI was wary because of the “dark” thing, but interested to try because of the red/blue undertones. I have really dark hair but I am excessively pale. Previous false tans have been a disaster.The first few times I didn’t leave it on long enough and it didn’t do much, but I have finally cracked it: you need to sleep in it (leave it on for 8h) and it develops a lovely colour. Not orangey, no gross fake tan smell. Does not streak and fades evenly. Will re-purchase

Absolutely love this product, as I'm pale I think I've been using a tan which is too dark, this product does several depths of tan, I ordered the caramel medium tan, easy to apply as there is a guide colour, doesn't have that fake tan smell, beautiful colour when rinsed off guide colour with water, if when you rinse the that off and the colour isn't showing much colour don't panic it develops over the next 24 hours, don't apply moisturiser as this will stop it from developing, this colour tan is perfect for me, the darker ones I felt were looking a bit too orange, this one is now my go to, it's not expensive so great value for money, would highly recommend it

This was without a doubt the worst fake tan I’ve ever used!1. It wasn’t Violet in the slightest, it was green totally and completely green! Not even a hint of Violet, and I shook it well before use, there would be no way I could leave the house this colour. 2. When applying it didn’t come out as foam, it came out like water which made it awful to apply, I swapped the pump with one from another fake tan which did make a better foam, but was still very watery. 3. It smells ABSOLUTELY awful! It smells like sour milk. I’d rather the classic biscuity smell than this sour milk smell! 4. It’s sooo sticky! Usually I can apply a tan, wait around 5 mins and pop on pjs but this literally still felt soaking wet after 20 minutes! 5. The colour isn’t intense, I washed off after 2 hours simply due to the smell and stickiness of it, there was no way I could go to bed with it on, but after washing as per guidelines the smell still lingered and the tan the following morning was barely visible. The only positive I can say is it didn’t last long and washed off quickly but again this may be due to it not being developed for over 3 hours as the bottle states. Overall a waste of money and I’ll be sticking to Effn tan which is still the best I’ve used! I’d save your self the money and avoid this tan!

This product looks lovely once u have applied it and left it on over night but what I personally found was that it isn’t very easy to apply. I had to keep putting more layers on as I tend to keep seeing areas I’ve missed or don’t look as dark. It’s like doing a workout trying to put all this stuff on 😆. It can get very messy around the lid. Don’t use hands to apply as it stains and makes your hands look ridiculous. Avoid applying loads on neck,knees and elbows,it can look terrible.I did use a special glove. Even after it’s dried & I showered, I found it still stained my clothes and it leaves a very strong biscuit smell when you’ve first applied it after an hour or two. You can still smell it sometimes for days. If u use it on face then it comes off quicker as makeup removers/cleansers and moisterisers take it off :( I would recommend only using this for special occasions and apply a day or two before.

I had high hopes for this, but unfortunately the smell let's it down. I'm olive skinned anyway, but wanted something just for my legs to even out my overall appreance (arms have had more sun exposure). Did a tester patch and was happy with the colour, it went on nice and easy, looks really natural. However when I then went to do my whole legs, about 2 hours after the shower off period it distinctly smelt like that 'fake tan biscuit' smell. Really disappointing as the bottle says 'scent free'. Going to try the coconut one- rather smell like a coconut than a biscuit!

Never tried this brand, I’m quite pale so went for medium, kind of wish I went for a darker shade but it is subtle and a lovely colour and not orange at all lovely!

I Bought both the mink and violet option. The violet is my favourite. I have yellow undertones through my pale skin and fake tans tend to make me look more orange than tanned. The purple tones in this counteracts my yellow tones nicely. It apples really well with a tanning mitt and comes out of the bottle in a sort of dark aubergine colour. The fact that you can quickly rinse it off (without soap) after an hour means all that muddy looking surface colour you get from fake tans is removed, so you can go straight out and it will still continue to develop whilst not looking like you haven’t washed for weeks! It also helps reduce the fake tan smell, although this doesn’t seem to completely disappear until you wash with soap/shower gel. Definitely not the strongest or most unpleasant of smells though. All in all, excellent product, happy customer!

The violet negates orange tones very well. It provides a natural looking tan. The first couple of layers seem light but that`s great - you have control over the depth of the tan by repeating layers to get a darker tan if required. Don`t use soap when you first rinse the tan off. If you wash your skin gently and don`t rub or scrub the tan lasts about a week fading naturally. To keep the tan going just top up every few days. I am pleased with this buy and I`ve tried a lot of tanning products before this.
