In an i7 14700 | ASRock Riptide Z790 WiFi, Fairly Decked Out Computer
It's been 12 years since I built myself a new machine, so I felt like I deserved to do it right. After all kinds of research and shopping, I decided on this P/S. (Pure Power 12 M 750W, ATX 3.0, 80 Plus Gold.) I wanted gold, I wanted modular, and I wanted a hundred or two extra watts. I had some trouble figuring out which power connectors went where on the motherboard. (Two 8 pin plugs on the motherboard and one 8 pin connector on the video card.) I called their tech support, it got answered almost immediately by a nice lady who, to my surprise, knew exactly what was going on once I told her which power supply I had! That's not as easy as it sounds, since, all the different Pure Power supplies come with different sets of (modular) cables; she had a lot to remember! We figured it out in no time and she kept me from potentially plugging one of the motherboard 8 pin connectors into the video card and vice versa. ASRock and Pure Power had totally different names for them. One of the most pleasant tech support calls I've ever been on! So, this power supply has been working in this machine for over a month. I've had the machine stressed on purpose, testing with CPU Z and and stressed incidentally, up-scaling (from 480P to 720P) and converting (from MP4 to MKV H265) video files. This was a real pleasure! Files that took my old machine over an hour, took 4-6 minutes on this one! Never any trouble, let alone with the power supply. I tried to find the "knee" in the performance to price ratio curve for all these parts, and if I did it anywhere, I did it with this power supply! The computer has 48 gigabytes (2X24) of G.Skill Ripjaws memory. This machine also has 5 M2 SSD's (One is PCI 5), a SATA 3 SSD, and two 6 terabyte (left over from NAS's) SATA 3 Seagate Iron Wolf HDD's. For video, it's got a used Zotac 1660 6GB GDDR5 card. I'm not a gamer; more of a productivity guy, but this machine's pretty decked out and it's faaast, and there's never any kind of a problem with this power supply! Oh! Yea! No LED's. The motherboard has them and has an LED controller, but I turned them off. The fans' LED's aren't plugged in. But it has two PWM fans for the processor cooler and 6 PWM case fans - the smallest is 120 mm. It boots in under 15 seconds, with all kinds of stuff running, and the cooling fans also crank up as it's booting, as it shuts down, for a second, and once in awhile for no apparent reason. All the other fans are louder (only when it's stressed) than the power supply fan, which I never even hear. I recommend it completely. It's well-built, competent, reliable, (so far; you never know for sure), and quiet, and it has great tech support if you need it. It's beefy and heavy, but not monstrously huge. It's very well priced for a "serious" power supply. Perfect! It's in a Phanteks Enthoo case with plenty of room, so the [modular] wiring is all well laid out inside. I found the included wiring harnesses long enough and sufficient for this build. This power supply finished off a very nice machine! I can't imagine needing a bigger power supply than this unless you've got a gamer-style, several thousand dollar video card or something.

Hasn't died yet.
As stated, hasn't died yet. Thats a harsh testament to how PC hardware outlooks are these days. My old Raidmax 850ae gold psu was still going strong since 12.5.2013. That is equal parts glorious and terrifying. I was getting black screens and total system freezes in GTA online, occasionally in other games so I started looking into possibilities. One was failing psu, so I got this one on the BF sale. Now, it didnt fix my issue (issue was steam/nvidia/discord In Game Overlay breaking stuff.) So far my PC runs and is quiet (cpu cooler fan is a tad noisy - obviously not a reflection on this conponent ) The modular cables are nice. Its all black - very nice. It seems like a good value for the cost. I have an RTX2070super so I did not try the PCIe 5 connector.

As Expected & Better
As Advertised. There is no better way to say it! It is EVERYTHING it is described as. Perfect! Great Instructions & very quiet. Added a Ryzen 5950X and all went perfect! Super quiet and plenty of spare cables .

Amazing PSU
This power supply is a beast - quiet, cool, and quality. First time buying from Be Quiet! and I'm really impressed. Installation was a breeze and cables are very easy to manage. I wish the cables felt a little more quality because they are quite ugly and are not braided. Personally I feel like braided PSUs feel better and will last longer, but maybe that's just me. It's not a deal breaker, just a pet peeve. The fan doesn't get loud, honestly I can't even tell when my computer is even on sometimes. Keeps my GPU and fans running solid when running games. I'm using an intel 7-13700KF, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Ti, 32G of Ram and this thing runs great with room to upgrade later on! As for the lifespan, I can't say for sure since I've had it running for about a week, but I've heard good things about this PSU. I've been on a quiet PSU hunt for a good month now, and I can say this is the winner. Really happy with my purchase.

Great PSU.
So far so good. Great PSU. Was having issues with my old Corsair ax1200i after it sat in storage for about 6 years. I decided to switch up my build and change cases so I went from a Lian Li 011 mini to a SUP01 and the Cooler Master sfx PSU I was using wouldn't fit so I drug out the old Corsair and it would cause a hard crash when my 7900XTX was under full load. Ordered this to replace it and has been good ever since. PSU is quiet under load and provides plenty of power. Also like the fact that even though the pcie cables are dual 8pin, the design of the PSU provides full wattage to both ends of the single dual 8pin.

Quiet, Works, Easy to Connect
Box was not damaged, the cables were a bit stiff such as for the motherboard and gpu but still manageable, weight is pretty light, easy to setup too. I used it for my 5070 and as I turned on my pc it made my fans quiter than before. As for the psu it’s completely silent. Will update as time goes on, but works well instantly out of box.

Great PSU
Great power supply. I haven’t had any problems with it and the cable management is good too. It’s durable and feels like a brick. Good value for 850 watts. I don’t know about speed but it does deliver power very well.

Short cables otherwise a good quiet power supply option
Works fine and seems like good quality. Quiet. Only gripe is while the cables are just barely long enough for a direct rout to my atx pc connections the cables are way too short for clean routing. Make your cables longer please.
