Worked for hot to the touch cool down cycle issues
Clothes were getting hot to the touch on cooldown. You couldn't even pick them up they were that hot. Took the heating element out and found a broken coil. Replaced the heating element as well as the high limit thermostat just in case. The heating element does fit in although the left side bolt was a pain but with a little elbow grease you can get the hole lined up. Even with replacing both parts that shouldn't take you more than 10 minutes and that's with taking the back off if you are familiar with dryers. If not maybe 20 minutes. Saved me a 2nd time!
This is the second set of these that I've gotten. The first one was in 2022 and I fixed my dryer myself and I am not mechanically inclined woman. This time the dryer wasn't Heating and I noticed a plug was loose and it got hot but it still wasn't drying. So I bought another one of these kits and I don't understand how to use that tester to test all the components so I just replaced all the components without changing the heating element because it was getting hot, and my dryer works great. I saved all the parts from this time and last time just in case it happens again and I'll get someone to help me test the components to see if they are still good. Saved me from buying a new dryer a second time, very happy!

you get a nice kit of all the things that could cause your dryer not to heat up
WOW what a time saver and a great deal , i was able to get my dryer going in just a few minutes . I thought it was the heat coil d, but it was the upper limit switch , i changed both anyways and was back drying cloths in no time , delivery was in one day for no extra cost and our clothes were dried nicely

DID NOT LAST LONG!
Purchased this when my element went out on my Kenmore Elite dryer. Husband installed on April 3, very easy installation, and the dryer was back in business. There were times, I thought the dryer would get extremely hot, I chalked it up to it having a brand new element. Last night, On May 11, my dryer wouldn't turn on, I had been doing laundry. Husband pulled it out and looked at it this morning, and the element had gotten so hot, it not only blew the thermal fuse, but blew parts of coil out of the bottom of the element. VERY DISAPPOINTED in this part! Thought I had my dryer back, but instead, literally just got done ordering a new dryer.

Dryer fixed
It was almost perfect except could only get one of 2 screws to fit on the element mount . Was still able to put it all back together and Dryer now has plenty of heat after only blowing cold air. This was way cheaper than a new dryer or calling repair company, and took only 30 minutes to fix
