Wipe New Rust-Oleum 381403-6PK Clear Lens Headlight Restore, 8 oz, 6 Pack

Had the headlights professionally restored two years ago, but it was beginning to show some light haze so I used the Rustoleum Like New Clear Lens and it successfully removed the oxidation. I did it manually so it required a lot of elbow grease; I went over it a second time to thoroughly remove the surface layer of previously applied sealant. For under $10 this was one of the cheaper options and being a single step product that includes a sealant, I found this much simpler than all the headlight restore kits out there. Time will tell how long the headlight lens will stay clear for, so I will follow up in a few months.

What an awesome product! Not only is it great for plastic headlight lens, I've used it all around the house. From the vinyl window frames, the brass lamps, and it gets all the mineral stains off the windows and the glass surfaces on my vehicle! It also repels the water on the glass! A definite winner! Very easy to use.

My entire headlight was very bad. I used it yesterday and I saw some improvement. I'll have to continue to try to clean it.

I had polish my headlights on the car to get rid of the yellow tint from ultraviolet. It was difficult, and time-consuming. I noticed my backup lights had exactly the same problem. I purchased this and the backup lights now are just as clear as a headlights with almost no effort at all with a minimum amount of rubbing and does not take very much of the product at all. First application seemed perfect but I used it again just to polish it some more did not see much improvement of the lenses look as if the car is new

Cleaned headlights well, but didn’t really take away the foggy look on the lens, like I had hoped.

This advertisement shows a headlight with 1/2 clear & 1/2 foggy. I used the yellow bottle Wipe New several years ago & it did just like the photo: cleared my "scratchy?" car headlights right up. I went to use it on my newer car & the bottle was dry so I bought the same name, but it is the black bottle. Instructions & data on both containers are essentially the same. But although I used it twice, my headlights are still foggy. Perhaps a little better, but definitely not clear & not like the old container of Wipe New which was fantastic. I cannot recommend this product.
