I recently had installed the DELLA Motto Series 12000 BTU Wifi Enabled Mini Split in my bonus room (about 600+ sq. ft.), and I couldn’t be happier with the results. This unit is a powerhouse! It effortlessly heats and cools the space, keeping the temperature just right year-round. One of the things that really stands out is how energy-efficient it is. Even with running both the cooling and heating functions, my utility bills have already started to drop—such a nice surprise! The 20 SEER2 rating is definitely paying off. The R32 refrigerant also helps make it more environmentally friendly, which is a huge plus. Installation was straightforward, and the fact that it's pre-charged with refrigerant made things much easier. I also love the Wi-Fi connectivity and Alexa compatibility, so I can control the temperature from anywhere. Whether I'm at home or away, I have full control of my room’s climate with just a few taps on my phone. The unit is quieter than I expected, and the overall build quality feels very solid. The heat pump is great during the colder months, and the air conditioning does wonders during the summer heat. I would highly recommend this mini-split system for anyone looking to efficiently heat and cool a medium to large room. It’s saving me money, is easy to use, and keeps my space comfortable year-round. Truly a great investment!

After many hours of research, I decided to purchase the 12,000 BTU Della split unit. I was very skeptical of the reviews, with all of the AI ads popping up after you type in a manufacturers name, but thought how could I go wrong with a thirty day return policy and decided to pull the trigger on it. I watched a couple of videos on installation, then gathered up my tools and went to work installing the line set to the wall mounted unit and with a friend’s help, we hung the inside unit. Afterwards we moved to the outside connected the power then the line set to the outdoor unit. I watched another video on evacuation of the lines then proceeded to pump it down. We tested to see if it would hold and not leak down for an hour, then released the Freon into the unit. I reseated the disconnect for power which connects the outside unit to the inside wall mounted unit. We went inside and turned the unit on and set it up on WiFi then tested it. This was installed in a Florida room surrounded by windows and very little insulation. This Della split unit performed flawlessly. Best purchase I’ve made in at least 15 years, the unit is very quiet indoors and out. The best part is that it doesn’t run continuously like the old window unit where the electric bill averaged $8.00 a day. The Della ran yesterday and the cost was $1.00, I’m extremely satisfied with this product and may purchase another for my golf simulator room. Thank you Della.

Pros: It's quiet. It can cool quickly when it wants to. It can heat if it decides it's in the mood. If I'm hot, I set it to 70 degrees Fahrenheit (21 c) and it cools to almost 58 f (14 c) in no time. Great for super hot days. It can still heat when it's -20 f (-29 c) outside, but it struggles a lot and would not keep us warm at all if not for the exceptional insulation. Cons: I'm not sure if the thermostat is just for show. Right now, the thermostat on the system is set to "cool" to 80 degrees Fahrenheit (~27 c), and it cools the bedroom to anywhere between 78 f (26 c) and 67 f (19 c) degrees depending on its mood that hour. When heating, it likes to keep us guessing as well. The blue light on the front is like a midnight sun. I regret putting it within eyesight of the bed. The controller screen is written using invisible ink. You have to hold it at an angle in a bright light just right to read it, and yes, I have changed the batteries twice, just in case. The Wi-Fi has never connected. I would have sent it back, but I waited too long to install it.

These units work great but the savings you get on these units don’t save you money after you have to spend a fortune on replacing your walls and floors from leaking condensation water all over because a drain system on them is terrible. Make a drain pan for inside below unit that can be drained out below to the outside!!!

The Heat heats well [warmss our 25'x25' standard ceiling room nicely.] The A/C works well. Kept same room way-cooler than our window a/c ever could. Wish "Auto" feature, would automatically switch between heat thermostat setting, and Cool thermostat setting, As it is if you've had a hot day, then, a cold front comes in...it WILL NOT switch from cooling to heating by itself...so, you're coming home to a cold house! The auto feature does work as an energy saver, in cooling function only. the remote features an added thermostat, [the iFeel function,] and can direct the unit to cool/heat where ever the remote is to proper temp, before shutting off. Features a vertical, and a horizontal swing function for spreading the air flow. •We have seen energy savings , but is it a fluke?

This unit made my summer! It didn't cost an arm and a leg, is quiet, and has saved me some bucks. It took a minute to learn the remote, but not too difficult, just different. Love, love, love it!
