OEM Quality Replacement | Easy Fix
This Rain Bird replacement diaphragm arrived in a small package and was simple to install—took about 10 minutes to swap out the old one. The fit is exact for CP and DV series valves as advertised. Material quality feels identical to the original OEM part for the price point—not a flimsy aftermarket substitute. The diaphragm restored proper water flow and eliminated the leaking issue immediately. It's holding up well under normal irrigation system pressure with no signs of deterioration. My pictures show how badly my valves were leaking. After replacing the diaphragms there are zero leaks. Much more cost-effective than replacing the entire valve assembly. Smart purchase for anyone with older Rain Bird valves experiencing flow problems or leaks. Highly Recommended.

Perfect fit for my Rain Bird valve - I bought 5 more to have on hand
I had a Rain Bird irrigation valve that would not shut off, even after flushing. This diaphragm makes EASY work to replace the full internals of a RB valve WITHOUT having to do any PVC work - no cutting out old, splicing in new, etc.....1)ensure your irrigation system H2O supply is shut off - then simply unscrew the stainless screws on top of your existing valve, remove the diaphragm/internals and replace with the new one. Be mindful of the orientation of the new diaphragm, as it goes only one orientation correctly. I purchased 5 more to have on hand, as I've never had the valve body go bad on my RB valves. Great price as well!

Part of it serves replacement for older valve
Actually I bought this to get the little white nylon "flow controller" from the piece, and use it to replace the same part on the diaphragm for my older version Rain&Bird solenoid valve that had a broken part. This avoids replacing entire valve.

Easy to install and fixed leaking.
Take screws out. Take off old diaphragm and spring. Clean up the seats on both sides of the assembly. Mine just took a little wiping with a lint free cloth. Put on the new diaphragm. I put the spring on the assembly side where the solenoid is located to make sure it was seated well and then lowered that onto the new diaphragm. I then pushed down on the top piece and put in the screws without tightening much at all. I then tightened in a start pattern until it was seated. Unscrewed the solenoid and used a pocket knife to get the old filter out and then replaced it. I then screwed the solenoid back in place. Turned on the system and then checked for leaks. There were none. Youtube has a good video for this kit as well. Just copy the part information and seach for that with adding installation at the beginning.

Be careful with Installation
Works well but you have to bottom out the screws to ensure the gasket does not spray.
