A lot of small connections to solder so if your not good at this get the pre assembled one.Otherwise a great addition and keeps the micro-bit connections from getting damaged.

Necessary for BBC Micro:bit if you want to use all pins.
You will need a product like this to access the smaller pins on the BBC Micro:bit but there are an awful lot of pins to solder is you want to join the two parts. I should have gone for the ready soldered version.
