Ideal backup VHF handset for sailing
Does exactly what you want it to. Ideal when singlehanding your boat. Good battery life and loud, clear reception. Feels solidly built too and resistant to knocks and drops. Very happy with the performance for the price.

Great little set huge set of instruction in about 29 different languages - but what is not to like seems to have an amazing battery life too. Can only recommend. Hello is anyone listening??

Nice little radio, gives peace of mind when kayaking out to sea. Decent battery life of 24 hours with screen permanently lit to maximum. Edit. 28/8/21. After just 3 trips out the screen is locked on ( yes I know there's a screen lock button ) no buttons are working, not receiving any traffic at all. I can't even switch it off. Not happy, particularly as it happened when I was out to sea, not good if I needed it.

Very straightforward to program & use. Would be nice if SMA to BNC adaptor was bundled to allow use of a remote elevated antenna without separate purchase. Everything else in package is comprehensive. Advice to Amazon.

Keep it switched on.!
If it ain’t switched on then it’s no good!! Especially when your out on your rib and can’t start the outboard and you’ve drifted into the path of a container ship coming into Pool Harbour! Luckily had the oars to row out of danger but there was this huge orange boat that rushed out to circle me and the ship! What was their problem? Who were they? Anyway I’m definitely not talking about me. Just a friend I know!! And a bit of a %$#€> at that!!!
