I was not going to buy this after reading reviews, it worked perfect for what I wanted. Joining motorcycle end can onto pipe, it was just to tight but with this I could make it slide on perfect and it was a titanium pipe.

I was attempting to stretch my header pipes by approx 1mm in diameter to allow a tighter seal with my Vance and Hines muffler. Although it has worked, after use I found the tapered nut to have cracked. Clearly this is not good quality.

This item was absolutely rubbish the first pipe I tried to expand, it broke. I only wanted 1.5 mm but it didn't do nothing. Segments did move ,I tried doing half but it just bent the Segments

Gonna be useful for holding pipe on my bench for welding Diddnt expect it to work on stainless when it's red hot like but would be nice

Not sure why I expected to be any different to others. I wasn't even trying to expand a pipe, just take the oval out an exhaust that had been clamped. Whilst it did work to get it round, it destroyed the tool with very little pressure. If this wasn't made of soft sintered metal it would actually be a good tool to reshape a pipe, I'm not sure it would ever actually expand a straight gauge pipe though. Amazon customer service refunded the product with no issues though.

Works good - but not as strong as I had thought I over stressed the threads by pushing the expander too far.
