Spongy texture. Disappointing.
Ok, in fairness, I didn’t realize I was buying ‘quick cooking’ rice and that’s most likely the problem. The texture is NOT good; it’s like parboiled rice. Better texture than Uncle Ben’s but not by much—it’s spongy. For a premium rice, it is disappointing.
