Wynn's Diesel Particulate Filter Cleaner - Cleans & Regenerates Blocked DPF Soot Filters - Reduces Soot Formation & Emissions - Compatible with Diesel & Hybrid Diesel up to B30-325ml

I felt obligated to write a review for this product because I cannot believe that it actually worked! The particle filter light kept coming on with my BMW X6. I had tried taking it for a few long drives, as some people suggested, to unclog the DPF but to no avail. I then put in a bottle of Wynn’s DPF cleaner and topped up with £50 of fuel before going on a journey of around 60 miles on the motorway. After that trip, the light then disappeared and hasn’t come back on now in a few weeks of driving. I was worried that I would have to the replace the DPF, which I know can be an expensive job, so this product really is a God-send. Just to point out: when I put in a bottle of this product, I let the fuel in the car run right down before doing so. The fuel reserve light was basically on, and I literally only had around 10 miles of driving left in the tank. I think this is the best way to do it because the product then basically gets straight into the system, with minimal dilution. I cannot recommend this item highly enough. 5* *Update* Ok, so this item did indeed get rid of the DPF light coming on but, after a few weeks, the light did come back on unfortunately. I then tried another couple of bottles of this item, but it did not resolve the issue this time. I then purchased the Veepeak OBD II Diagnostic Scan Tool, which plugs into your car. I also bought the BMW BimmerLink App. What these things enable you to do is basically clear the error codes on the DPF and then “force” a regen. You basically connect your phone to the OBD tool, and select DPF from the interface menu. You then need to request a DPF generation. After doing this, go back to the main interface and select Error Memory. When it loads up, then select Digital Diesel Electronics and clear all the error codes. Once you’ve done this, go back to main interface and select DPF and it should show up as YES under Regeneration Requested. Your car will basically not Regenerate itself unless you remove the error codes, so you must remove them to force a Regeneration. The interface may be a bit different, depending on which app you use, but they should all be pretty similar. You can purchase the Veepeak OBD II Diagnostic Scan Tool from Amazon. It’s a very handy device to have.

Whilst I wasn't having any real issues with my 2015 Passat TDI it was regenerating every 50-75 miles despite regular dual carriageway journeys. After using this product the next regeneration was after 137 miles with identical journeys so I'm sold and will continue to use!

Almost impossible to tell if these products work if it preventative maintenance. Put in four diesel vehicles fingers crossed.

I’ve got these cause I had a problem with my diesel car. Been using them every three months. Since using this item had no problems with the car.

I put this into my girlfriends qashqai because hers was always under powered and thirsty for diesel in comparison to my qashqai with the same engine. After 10 mins of driving I noticed performance had suddenly gotten very lively and at the end of a few days driving the average mpg went from 37mpg to 44. We were never able to get it over 40 before.

I tried it. I saw no difference in engine performance or fuel efficiency. It's not cheap.

Excellent in use for when the DPF light comes on. Just follow the instructions. Bought to keep in the car, just in case

This DPF cleaner 100% works. Other brands I've tried did work eventually but required two bottles before the warning indicator turned off. I have regularly purchased this product over the past four years and I get up to six months driving per application around town before I get another DPF warning. I usually half fill my tank and add the cleaner prior to a long journey of roughly a 60 mile round trip on the motorway. It's best to drive one gear lower at slightly higher revs as this ensures that the emmiting exhaust fumes are much hotter which greatly helps to burn away the soot from the filter and speeds up the process. Lo puse tardo como una semana en combinar bien con el diésel, lo lleve media hora a carretera y listo.

Ogni tanto sulla mia AUDI Q3 mi si accende la spia arancione avaria motore che indica secondo diagnosi gruppo farfallato sporco o filtro antiparticolato. Ho scoperto questo prodotto e l’ho utilizzato più volte, risolvendo il problema. Il mio è un 2.0 Diesel e utilizzo questo prodotto ogni 4000 Km specialmente se so di far lunghe percorrenze. NOTE: Quando si è a riserva al distributore inserire il prodotto e poi far il pieno o almeno fare 40lt , e cercate di fare lunghe percorrenze. A me dà ottimi risultati CONSIGLIO

Best DFP cleaner I have found

Increíble!!! Lo puse antes de llenar el depósito de gasolil, después cuando la temperatura llego a 90° lo puse a 3 mil RMP durante 30 km y se quito el testigo y el pitido molesto de fallo en filtro de partículas. Súper recomendable!! Dejo fotografías de antes y después para que vean que SI FUNCIONA!!
