Best chokes on the market
This was made specifically for Winchester Longbeard XR. It patterns GREAT with that load, but I even tried out some traditional lead and copper plated lead, and it was excellent.

Throws great patterns through my 870
I’m getting great patterns out of my 870 with it. Definitely likes long beards , but also shot migra hybrids very well! Pictured is the migra hybrid pattern at 40 yards.

Love it!
Built a turkey gun out of a home defense gun, shot a turkey at almost 50 yards with this choke. Super tight pattern even out past 50 yards with long beard XR loads.

Good Turkey Hunting Patterns with Carlson Long Beard Choke
Purchased this choke for my Remington 870 12 ga. Throws decent patterns out to 40 yards with handloaded #6 Hevi-shot 13. Will try some different loads to see if I can stretch it out to 50 or 55 yards. This load/choke combo did take a tom at 40 yards here in CA.

Delivers great patterns.
Excellent turkey choke. Highly rated by many people more experienced than me but I will tell you that it works as advertised. 6 inch patterns tight and accurate at 30 yards. 40 yards out still excellent. Gun used was a standard issue Remington 870 26 inch barrel.

I Love This Turkey Choke
I run a Remington 11-87 super mag with Winchester XR’s and paired with this choke it’s an incredible combination. Filled a lot of tags with this combo. Definitely worth the money.
