Super fast shipping and quality kilt!
I ordered this for my husband as a Father's Day and birthday gift. Estimated shipping time was about 7 days. It arrived in less than 3 days. We came home today in a storm and it was on the front porch. Thankfully it was in a plastic bag under the soaked envelope it came in. My husband absolutely loves it and put it on immediately. I certainly win for best bday gift this year haha. Thank you Allkilts for fast shipping and a quality product that made my husband squeal with delight. He loves his new kilt and I love how it looks on him! Fit is great too. He wears a 48 in pants but I did a sneaky measurement and ordered the size 50. It fits perfect!

Very nice, but there is a small problem with the design.
I bought this for my husband who has been searching for a heavy-duty kilt for quite some time.The first one we got was way too large for him, which was a big surprise since he's a big fellow and we usually have a hard time finding clothing for him in a large enough size. But doing the return and reordering a much smaller size was easy to do.The material is very durable and he says it is very comfortable for the most part. The design flaw that made this a 4 star instead of 5 is the placement of the hardware on the back end that makes it very difficult to sit down while wearing the pouch.

the packaging was good and protective
Okay, so I bought this item and I recieved it before the shipment arrival time had predicted, which is a plus. When it came, the packaging was good and protective, so I didn't have to worry about the product coming in damaged.To be honest, I was a bit skeptical when it came to the quality of the product from looking at the pictures of it kilt, it looked a but cheaply made. Now wearing it and feeling the fabrics, the quality is good, especially for a kilt that cost me a little over $50. You don't need to worry about the quality, it's good.I'm overall pleased with this kilt, it's snug and it fits. The only qualms I have with the item itself is the design. It seems like everything is slanted a but to the right, but it's not really noticable and you don't look stupid or out of place with it like that, so it's a good product.If the reader does want any advice for the product, I'll just like to reiterate to you that you should check the sizing chart for this item, because you should pay attention to it so that you can get the right fit.

Oh hell, yes.
OK, this gets a 5 star and would get 6 if I could. Note that the "somewhat large" is not the Kiltmaker's fault. I am a tall woman with an actual waist, so the kilt would fit a man perfectly. In fact, my biggest problem has been keeping this out of my son's hands. He's never tried to steal my clothing before but this kilt Is in real peril from him. I almost never buy myself new clothing, except for boots, and my only regret is that I didn't get it sooner. So badass, so cool, and so functional. Just do it.

A great kilt if you are tall enough to wear it.
Got the kilt and like the build quality and materials. Out of the bag it looks great and I was very pleased that it actually has a couple of inches of adjustment. Most utility kilts don't.If you are not in the 5'10"-6'+ range this kilt will be too long. This was my problem with the kilt. I prefer my kilts to run mid-knee or at the top of the knew. I put this one on and it fell well below my knees. The cost and trouble of having 3"-5" hemmed up makes the good deal on this kilt evaporate.Despite my tape measure saying a 42" was right, it was also a bit lose in the waste.I handed it off to my 6'1" son and it fits perfectly.

had higher hopes for this kilt
As far as looks , it looks wonderful . We sized up to ensure a proper fit .The reason we couldnt do 5 stars is the first time it was washed, pieces broke off. We washed it on gentle the first time, and on gentle in a pillow case the next time and both times it came out with a piece that had fallen off, broken or snapped.Not sure if it was something we did wrong, or if there is a certain way these should be washed .

LOVE IT!
LOVE IT!!!! They say "add 2 sizes", but I wear my normal pants up higher. I got a 50in. A bit BIG on me. MY FAULT, not theirs. it is HEAVY, which is also a plus. With a good belt, both issues are resolved. Arrived faster than I thought

Perfect!
My husband looks so sexy in this kilt!! We ordered the right size and it got here just in time for an event. Just needed a bit of steaming/ironing after cleaning or packing for travel. He loves this kilt almost as much a his more casual everyday utility kilt!
