Almost 5 stars
I bought these to replace a set that was over ten years old. I chose a Panasonic to replace a set because that set was incredible (and lasted over ten years.).Pro: Back-lit buttons are nice, the display is fine, definitely better than those phones that are amber black-lit. Plenty of room in your Phone Book and blocked numbers list. Quality construction, I dropped one a couple of times on hard surfaces, no damage. You can set up the phones as a baby monitor. Big reason I bought these is the call block button - block calls immediately anytime whether you’ve answered it or not. Display a previous call and block the number. With the old set I’d have to go thru multiple menu settings to block one call.Con: Battery life isn’t that great, don’t leave them off the hook overnight, but that may improve once the batteries are go through some charging cycles. Reception range is average, definitely less than our old set. This set is really fine, except for some disappointing operation. The reception is not as strong as my previous set. The sound quality of the speaker phone is poor, distorted. My old set lit up if you had a voice mail message or a missed call. This one only lights up for messages. I miss that feature. The buttons are too sensitive, many times when the phone rings, if I pick it up it would answer the call before it could display the caller ID.Despite all of the above I would still recommend this set, although battery life and reception may be downers. And it’s Panasonic.

Works great
Bought this as a replacement for the previous model I'd purchased years ago, because the old "extension" handsets stopped holding a charge for more than a few minutes. This works great and is more compact than the original.

Disappointed 😞
I am very disappointed with this product, the phones does not hold a charge in a full day, by night fall the phone is stating the battery is low. I have purchased new batteries twice for these phones, and they still do not hold a charge in a full day. I would like to be refunded for this product as it is a disappointment.

Two great phones.
These two phones work great and are simple to use. Price was not bad either.

Too fragile
Too fragile. The instructions tell you that you should not drop it. That's common sense but the fact that they tell you that indicates that they know it's a problem.

Basic
Got this phone to replace one where I couldn't turn off the ringer on the base even though you could turn off the ringer on both handsets. This phone allows you to keep pressing the "-" key on the base until you can no longer hear the ring tone. However, with this phone I lost a couple of key features that I wanted, the main one being the way the caller I.D. works. I work at home and use this phone for my business landline which I've had for nearly 30 years and some of my occasional customers only have this number. However, as we all know, landlines are plagued by scam and marketing calls so a call block service that's easy to operate is a must. On this phone there is a call block button you can push during a call to hang up the call and block further calls from that number. Easy peasy. That's good. The problem for me comes with the auto call block feature. If you turn it on it's supposed to block automated calls and calls on your blocked list. What I discovered, however, is that even if you turn off the automated call block your caller (often one of my customers) is prevented from ringing straight through. They get a message to press a number (1) to be connected. This is a real irritation for customers and isn't good for business, and for me, I have to be diligent in adding each caller immediately to the phone book or they get plagued with this extra step every time they call. The phone book on this phone only has room for 100 numbers ( though it has memory for 1000 blocked numbers). My cell phone currently has over 400-500 numbers at the moment, so a phone book allowing only 100 numbers isn't nearly large enough to hold every "allowed" caller. Second issue I have is that there are only 2 ringtones available, both variations of the same ringtone which is your basic type ring that phones had before the digital age. Granted, not a big problem but still... Anyway, the phone feels sturdy and has a little weight to it. Doesn't have a good shape for holding against your shoulder, but you can always use the speaker phone. It's a good, basic phone. It has large buttons and thoroughly written out instructions. It just doesn't work well for my particular needs.

As advertised.
used to stock first aid kits at a summer camp. Fantastic fine point jaws for removing splinters, stickers, thorns and such from small fingers and skin.
