Cascara. I love it. It's the dried coffee (cherry) fruit skin. You can drink it as a tea or pulverize it into this powder. It has a pleasant nutty taste and I think it gives you energy with out the caffeine gitters. I LOVE this stuff. I use it everyday in my matcha tea and I highly recommend this.

Nothing Noticeable
Tried on recommendation for weight loss assistance but I have not noticed any effect. This ingredient is classified as a laxative, but has not produced any noticeable increase in bowel activity. I'm sure this will affect all individuals differently, as with many products. In the meantime, as I've neared the end of this batch (taking 1/2 tsp twice a day in liquid), I have ordered a capsule supplement from another company for comparison.

I bought this for digestion.
I bought this for digestion. I was constipated. 1part Cascara, 2 parts Licorice Root, 3 parts Buckthorn. All powder easy to mix. I try to drink 3 cups of this a day and watch my diet, no gluten, no processed sugars, no dairy. This is work, but worth it!

Not Authentic Cascara Sagrada
It is not Cascara Sagrada at all. Same genus of the plant but different species. It is Rhamnus Davurica but should be Rhamnus Purshiana plant. It does not taste bitter as it should as it does not contain imodine which is the active ingredient in authentic sascara sagrada.

this is not for constipation. It’s a different cascara.
This is not the real cascara Serata that’s for a laxative, which is what I was looking for. You have to take five capsules double zero capsules to actually create some movement in the intestines when I used to only take one or two very disappointed. I’m hearing all this other Digestive stuff maybe I’ll try that but this is not. for constipation.
