So, I put this on my classroom door. Now my students don’t have to alert me when I’m helping someone that a guest has walked in. It makes a lovely chiming sound that’s not startling. Unlike turning around to see someone standing in front of you with a question never hearing them approach.

If you're looking for something loud this isn't the bell for you. It's a gentle, lite tinkling sound. It's really a very pleasant sound. Basically, it lets me know when my husband comes in the door. I probably couldn't hear it from my bedroom, and diffidently not down stairs. If you're looking for something you can hear throughout the house, keep looking. I personally like this bell.

The media could not be loaded.  Either I got a defective one or it just doesn't work like I thought it would. You can't barely hear it, it only sounds one time.. I tried opening the door slowly and fast... same thing. I really like how it looked but not how it sounded.

I like this little bell! The sound is nice for my metal back door. I took the sticky dots and put two on one side. I bought small round strong magnets from Amazon. Then I stuck them to the dots. Now I can move the bell around. This makes a great present, and I would include some magnets too!Now I have a pleasant greeting when I come home!

Loved the look and sound of this product but it fell off and broke after only 48 hours. The door was cleaned and prepped before adhesion.
