My fault for not installing right away, return window past and today I Installed to find the shock will not extend without major downward force on the tailgate. Ordering another one now with hopes of better luck this time. Nd one arrived and also doesn’t work. Ordered what I should have ordered a DeZee. Came today and now is see the issue. -#1 the shock still doesn’t extend, the balls are not welded on, they have backings making them not flat and fit crappy, and the bottom bracket is mirrored so it’s backwards. Just spend the little extra and buy the DeZee and be done with it. I learned my lesson. At least I can still return one of these

Easy to install, great quality and affordable. 3rd pickup I have used this. You will like the pre-drilled driving light mounts, sensor cable extensions are a bonus that allows you to relocate them. Good value.
