arrived with resistance broken, 2 and a half weeks later at time of writing review sill not repaired,excuse after excuse from nordictrack eg 4 times engineer will call then he was ill, will review again if it sver gets repairedcross trainer now repaired really good sturdy machine gives a good workout quiet and steady when using at top speed nordic track very helpful in getting machine repaied

Most reviews of these products are written within the first few weeks of purchase and so are usually very positive. About 18 months ago, I bought a £499 elliptical trainer from Icon Fitness (who own several brands including NordicTrack and Proform). The trainer's monitor never worked properly and the trainer made horrible noises. But I put up with this as it would have been too much effort to dismantle the trainer and send it back. Then about 18 months after purchase the thing broke completely and is now only good for scrap. As I had sent in a Warranty Card to get two years' warranty, I contacted the supplier - Powerhouse Fitness. They said they only gave a 1-year guarantee and so it was nothing to do with them and told me to contact the manufacturer (US company Icon Fitness with a call centre in Romania!). Icon Fitness refused any responsibility as they claim my Warranty Card reached them about 33 days after purchase when in the many pages of small print in the warranty document it stated that the Warranty Card had to reach them within 28 days.So, I've wasted £499 buying a product from the manufacturer of NordicTrack and Proform trainers.Incidentally, the much simpler £150 elliptical trainer I have in my holiday home lasted over 6 years.

It’s an amazing machine.I use it every day, very stable, i just love it.Very pleased
