What is the size of the hex socket?

It is a 3/16" and the main thing is the tip is flat not beveled so it will work with a shallow screw head as the standard nut driver tip is beveled and will not connect with the screw head.

Will it work to tighten the front site ?

Remove the slide and determine if there is a hex nut under the front sight. If so this tool will work just fine. By the way this small hex head screw should be installed with Loctite.

Does this work on Walthers?

The tool is a 3/16" thin wall hex driver. It should work on the front sight of any handgun slide where the front sight uses a 3/16" hex head bolt. The thin wall is necessary due to the very close space of the indented mounting area of the Glock and Walther PPQ M2 slides. A standard wall thickness hex driver will be too thick. I have successfully used the tool to install aftermarket Trijicon HD sights on Walther PPQ M2s. Unlike Glocks, the factory Walther PPQ M2 front sight does not use a mounting bolt. They have a spring tension post, so this tool was not used in the disassembly of the original equipment sight. I cannot speak to other Walther models.
