Works really well, since moving to a USB C version (Used to have the general USB 3) and plugging into one of the many spare ports I had on the back of my my Mac Studio, all the drives are running faster and have more spare ports should I want them. The extra length of the cable also makes all the difference so well worth the price.

I’ve been using this hub on my desk for a while and it’s been spot on. All four ports work perfectly and data transfer speeds are fast. It’s slim, doesn’t take up much space, and feels well made as you’d expect from Anker. Great little hub to have.

The USB hub is compact and the cable is just about long enough to rest on the back of the stand of my M4 Mac and is hidden from view. The hub works perfectly with no noticeable difference in performance. The Anker USB hub represents excellent value for money and has an 18 month warranty.

This is a superby, useful USB hub for my laptop. It's superby easy to use - just plug it in and it's ready to go. It provides excellent transfer speeds when I'm copying data from PC to a USB stick. It fits into my cable bag for when I'm travelling and is great value for money as it's from a recognisable brand name. The cable length is perfect for my office requirements. The hub also has great heat management and won't get superbly hot during daily use. A very handy thing to have in your cable pouch, or attached to your laptop.

Needed some extra front IO usb ports but not some slow 2.0 or standard 3.0. ideally I wanted maybe 8 ports but this Anker one was the best I could find for my budget. It's been plugged into the USB C thunderbolt port on my front IO so can handle the hubs 5GBPS transfer speed; infact the hub is now the bottleneck as that USB C port can do up to 20GBPS. I mounted it with double sized tape, no sticky pad or mounting options were provided with the hub but that's fine, onto the front of my PC where it's easily accessible and removable if needed. The cable is a bit too long but I'd rather it was too long than too short. So far, works a charm and I'm able to use it to avoid having to crawl on my hands and knees under my desk to the back of my PC just to plug my USB mouse dongle (which I often unplug and use with a laptop elsewhere) into the faster USB port so it has no input lag. Now, I can just plug it in here along with my USB drives and Xbox controller when it's needed. I can recommend grabbing one of these If you're in need of more high speed front IO usb ports like I was. It works great :)

My poor server has so many internal and external enclosures the only port I had left to use was a type-c on my GPU. With this hub, I can keep it on top of the server and be able to easily swap or add usb drives or other USB accessories with ease.

I have a few of the USB A cable version, and they are great. I have a new laptop which mainly has USB C sockets, and this version with a USB C cable is just as good. All the ports on this are USB A. I like the sturdy lightweight plastic design; it doesn't feel cheap. Be aware that it doesn't pass a lot of power. Ok for usb sticks, usb ssd drives (it will transfer files fast), plus wireless mouse dongles, usb mouse and keyboard, logitech clicker, etc. But it won't power an external spinning hard drive. I think the total max current it can pass is 0.9 amp, so keep that in mind.
