For more than 10 years, I carried a Leatherman Micra with me. It was one of the most useful and durable tools I have ever owned. I used it almost every day for something. But then one day I lost it. I have no idea where it went, but I needed a replacement. So I went to order a new one and discovered that the price has DOUBLED since I bought mine! Mine was originally $25, but now the Micra sells for $50. That’s really crazy. I understand inflation and all, but $50? I would have understood if it was selling for $30 or $35 after all of these years, but that was too much. So I started looking elsewhere to see if I could find any small multitool that would be a worthy replacement for my beloved Micra. I looked at every multitool on the market. It’s really hard to find any tool this size that has good scissors. Since the scissors were the main part of the Micra that I used, that was the most important feature to me. After much research, I finally came across the Mini Sailor Scissors from NexTool. Since I received it, I have been quite happy with this tool. It is slightly larger than the Micra, but not enough to be noticeable unless you have them side by side. The scissors work great, and I’m also very happy with the quality of the knife, bottle opener, and screwdrivers. Those were the main features of the Micra that I used. The best part is the price. This tool sells for half the price of the Micra, although it’s just as good in almost every respect. The only feature it doesn’t have that the Micra did that I miss are the tweezers, but for half the price I can live without that part. I highly recommend this product if you’re looking for a quality multitool that includes scissors.

I’ve purchased small multitools with pliers and found that i did not have enough clamping force to do anything with them. The scissors in this multitool have been very handy dealing with all the plastic packaging in my day. The knife blade is stout and durable, and the other tools work well including the Phillips screw driver. Not for heavy work but just right for most of my day. Great tool.

Mini Sailor Scissors- Excellent scissors, good blade and drivers, good quality and adorable (though probably not that useful) pliers. In general, remarkable fit and finish for the price, BUT really let down by by the terrible and almost useless file. Also, not the best quality steel and durability yet to be established.

Good quality small multi-tool. The scissor work well. Great addition to my EDC.

The tool is small and well thought out. Contains most of what I would need. The scissor blades are pretty soft and actually deformed when cutting a briar bush. Also the correct tension on the screws is almost impossible to archive. They are either so loose the scales rattle or so tight the tool won’t open.

I was looking for a compact pocket tool that includes a scissors (the tool I most often use), and this has a nice one that's convenient to access and is quite sharp (as is it's knife blade, as well). All tools are easy to unfold, not requiring gorilla finger nails to pry them open. Overall, it's a great value; it's all metal - no plastic, and, for the price, IMO, it rivals much more expensive pocket tools. Plus, it easily fits in my front pants pocket without feeling like I'm carrying around a boat anchor in there!

I like Multitools and knives and I was impressed with this product! The scissors and knife blade are solid locking tools. The other tools are non-locking, yet provide utility when needed. i like the ruler measurements and the pocket clip. This is my second NEXTOOL product to own. Well done Nextool.
