ESV Journaling Study Bible (TruTone over Board, Nubuck Caramel): Holy Bible, English Standard Version

This ESV Journaling Study Bible has been an excellent addition to my daily reading and study time. It’s a great balance between a study Bible and a journaling Bible, which makes it really versatile. The layout is one of my favorite parts. The wide margins give you plenty of space to take notes, write reflections, or highlight key verses without feeling cramped. If you like interacting with the text while you read, this is perfect. The study notes are helpful without being overwhelming. They add context and insight where it’s needed, but still keep the focus on Scripture. It feels well-organized and easy to follow. The print is clear and readable, and the paper quality is better than I expected. Even with highlighting and note-taking, there’s minimal bleed-through, which is a big plus. The overall design is clean and well put together. It feels durable enough for everyday use but still looks nice enough to keep long-term. A couple things to keep in mind: The added study content and margins make it a bit larger and heavier than a standard Bible If you prefer very large text, this may feel slightly smaller than expected Overall, this is a great option if you want something that encourages both study and personal reflection. It’s been really useful for slowing down and engaging more intentionally with what I’m reading.

Honestly, thanks to all the great reviews, I decided to buy it, but of course, I was nervous with what the bad reviews said about it missing pages and being too thin. To be honest, as soon as I received it, I checked page by page and it's all there! It is truly a beautiful Bible, the cover is super nice, the pages are thick enough for the BLIEVE highlighters and normal pens to write without bleeding. The annotations are perfect, and the ESV translation is great and the same Pastor Paul uses on his youtube channel. This is a great Bible and if you're looking for a study and journalling Bible that has enough space for notes, guides you and looks amazing on your desk/shelf, look no further! :) Ps. It comes with this box/cover that's great to keep it in so it doesn't get dirty or damaged.

If you can read regular print size this is perfect for you and easy to understand. Has tons of charts and resources some I put in pictures. Love the cover it’s hard and with a soft texture and elegant design and look. For people with aged eyesight if you can read it with glasses it’ll be ok if you want larger print search a larger print ESV Bible. This is the first actual study/journal Bible in one and I absolutely love it, tons of study material and notes with helpful resources plenty of note space. The pages are regular thickness no major bleed through with sharpie highlighters or any of my pens I use paper mate felt tip pens. I like this version and the NLT the best and I have CSB and KJV ad NIV and this ESV is clearer than the NIV is to understand and read. Reminds me a little bit of KJV in a clearer language. If you are looking for the go ahead to order than look no farther if this print is easy for you to read it’s my favorite by far and I use this with another Bible or two I have with study notes and different translations to get everything and most days just use the ESV. The purpose was to have everything in one Bible and this delivered my expectations in a study/note taking Bible in one! Everything right there when you open so you don’t have to look in a notebook for notes and makes it easy to reread. Not normally a hard cover fan but this lays flat and is perfect for writing your notes in. I have 1 or 2 others that are hard and this is my favorite out of all of them. Still reading well Go Buy It You’ll thank me later!

I really am enjoying this Bible; I love all the information it gives below the scripture. It has plenty of room for notes as well. The pages are thinner than my other two bibles, so you do wanna be careful and sadly even my Bible highlighters bled thru the pages so I’ll just use my pen till I can find an alternative. I was expecting the cover to be a smooth leather, but it’s suede. That’s ok, but I was kinda hoping it would be smooth lol. All in all, it’s really well done and I’m loving learning even more about the Word with this.

I haven’t had an ESV bible before but I took a chance on this one because it had the notes section, maps, and timelines of events in each book. ESV was surprisingly easy to understand and comprehend unlike some other versions I’ve had in the past. The book is so beautiful, the maps are very detailed and there’s note sections on every page. The pages are thin but not anymore thin than any other bible. With a bible highlighter and a pencil you can easily write notes and highlight without any bleeding. I highly recommend this bible and I look forward to using it more!

When I received it, I was genuinely so happy 💕 the nubuck caramel cover feels beautiful in person, soft and high quality, and even better than I expected from the photos. The size and weight feel just right, and the journaling space is very practical without making the Bible feel bulky. I always check other people’s reviews carefully before making a decision, and this one truly lived up to what others shared. Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. Nice paper, nice print, nice cover. I was hesitent to use it as intended, then my cat scratched de cover and now the spell is broken. Paper sufficiently thick for note taking. Totally recommend.
