Reliable and easy to use!
Great product! I used this watering system for 2 long vacations (10-14 days) to water 8-10 fairly large plants. It works great! We had to use a large 5 gal bucket for the water, and the pump hangs along the rim. I put my plants on a table and cut and joined the tubing so all the plants were set up with a tube and watering stake. It's easy to put 2 watering stakes in larger plants so they get more water. I run it a few days before we go to make sure it's set up correctly and there are no leaks. The pump controls are easy to work and understand. Overall a great product and it's been reliable so far!

I wished that I had bought sooner
I bought this automatic watering system for while we were out of town. It was easy to step up and worked perfectly. We came home after 2 weeks and my plants were alive and looked so healthy. Well worth the money.

Good but not perfect
This was a saver when I took a trip. Works reasonably well. The package has plenty of connectors and hose length. The pump itself is small, but I found positioning it neatly next to plants difficult with all the hose attached. The settings are not as complicated as some other reviews, in fact, I find it quite intuitive. The biggest difficulty is with adjusting the water volume. You can set the total watering time (like 1 minutes every day) but depending on the hose length and number of outlets, the actual water volume changes.

Great Customer Service
I have 3 of these Diafeld work great, but the last one would not suck up the water. It turned on was easy to program but would not work even after doing manual setting 6 times for 60 secs. I contacted customer service and they agreed defective and sent replacement within a week. Replacement works like the other two.

Misleading description
I bought one of these pumps about a month ago but did not manage to actually open the box until yesterday. I assembled the whole system yesterday and programmed it for 12 small pots. Everything seemed fine and I liked the fact that, unlike many other similar systems that allow programming of watering duration only in multiples of minutes, I can program the watering duration with this device in multiples of second increments. This is nice for very small pots. All well so far. The product description and the manual is quite vague and misleading when it comes to its power supply. The device needs and AC connection and has no battery, but the description and the manual suggest that the programming is somehow saved in case of power failure. To simulate a power failure, I unplugged the device and plugged it back again after a while. Initially it seemed that all my programmed settings were lost. But after I switched between manual and auto modes, my settings (programming and clock setting) returned; so, the device did somehow remember my settings (at least for the short duration of being unplugged). Nevertheless, it required me to physically diddle with the knob to get my settings back. If there is a power failure while I'm away, there is no one around to diddle with the knob to reset my programming or the clock setting, and I am not sure how long of a power outage it would take before the device's memory is wiped out completely. I want a pump that works reliably when I am away, even if there is a power failure. For me this product is useless. Unfortunately, I have cut the tubing and cannot return it any more. I wish I had read the negative customer reviews before I bought this product; oh well, I paid a price to learn a lesson!

Definitely increased the health of my plants
I am growing indoors in a grow tent. I have 8 strawberry plants in airpots, and 4 basil plants in regular pots. They are very thirsty, and watering manually every day was getting tiresome. I bought a wireless soil moisture sensor to keep an eye on things, and it was clear that I wasn't doing a good job. So, I bought this thing. Install was easy. The hardest part was figuring out the best way to use the splitters to get somewhat even flow to each plant. The tubing is gray, so should prevent the growth of algae in the tubes because light presumably cannot get in. The timer is dumb, because when I make a change to it, it won't run until the next start time. For example, if I have the start time set to 5am and to water every hour for 10 seconds, and I change it to 12 seconds in the afternoon... it won't run again until 5am. This is an annoyance. The instructions say not to run fertilizer through it. Well, not sure why that is so I'm running a weak hydroponic solution through it along with a soil wetting agent, and things are fine. While my strawberries were getting the right amount of water, my basil was getting too much. I just bought a bag of cheap aquarium valves and put them after the splitter that went to the basil and cracked it open about half. This fixed the problem. Frankly, this kit should come with some of those valves so you can adjust the flow per plant. Despite my complaints, I just ordered another as I'm putting some more plants in which have different watering and fertilizer requirements, and I need to have a separate reservoir for that. Edit: Removed a star. When the power goes out, the schedule is wiped and it does not resume watering. I'm glad I figured this out before taking some trips. So, to alleviate this problem, I have a spare AGM battery here because I accidentally ordered too many, and I'm putting it on a trickle charger. Then, I'm making some cables to plug the watering things into the battery instead of the power block that came with them. Edit 2: the stakes, while they work initially, eventually get filled by roots and clog. I lost a couple of plants to this. I ended up buying a 50 pack of stakes with the emitter on top of them so they work like a mini sprinkler. Roots won't clog these and they work better. The battery backup system is working awesome though. It will run for days without line power, and doesn't lose it's schedule anymore. While these work, I am annoyed about the scheduling stuff as mentioned above and that if I change anything relating to the schedule, the unit effectively stops watering until the next start time (currently 5am). So if I change something in the afternoon, it's done watering until 5am the next day. I'm probably just going to build one with a raspberry pi and some pumps.

Stellar customer service. Not just Amazon, but the seller. World class.
Works great...until it doesn't. The water intake/output ports on the unit are VERY fragile. They snap off with the slightest sideways pressure. I have broken two units, so I'll NEVER buy another one. I managed to fix one with some epoxy glue, but I certainly shouldn't have to, especially after only 9 months. I'll try to fix the other one. You can't buy just the pump either. You have to buy the whole kit, so the spare tubing and emitters just go into a box or the trash. I would keep shopping for a better product if I was you. Update 8-6-2025: The seller, 1 by 1, is great. On a whim, I called the company and spoke with Norma, who was absolutely amazing, to inform them of the irrigation pumps weakness. Norma was so helpful and nice. Ultimately, 1 by 1 sent me 2 brand new replacements for the broken pumps. They sent the pump, tubing, emitters, the whole setup. I am now changing my review from two stars to 5. The product may have its limitations, but the folks who sell it on Amazon are world-class professionals. Look no further.

Saved our plants
Very easy to use and setup. It does provide for more than 1 day separation between cycles if desired. I used it for a 10 second run every day while we were out on vacation for 11 days. I had a medium size Tupperware container with water in it. A couple days the outside temp was supposed to be in the 90's so I was worried that the inside house temp would get pretty hot those days since I still had our Air Conditioner on heat due to other days dropping below freezing (Midwest Spring). When we got home the container was bone dry so I was worried that the pump may have burned itself out, but after doing another test, it ran fine still. Our plants were in perfect health and the soil was still moist when we got back. So very happy with this and plan on using it for all future trips (just with a bigger water container).

Great little pump
So far it does what it's supposed to do. Great for vacations or if you are tired of watering. Pump is strong and delivers water as intended. Every dripper it came with is used. As you can see i have the pump low and it is strong enough to water all the way to the top.
