Solid lightweight dual camera — good value with a few quirks
I've been using this camera for a week, and overall I'm pretty happy with it. The image quality is decent from both the front and rear cameras. It's not ultra-sharp, but it does the job — you can usually read car plates if they’re within 2–3 meters and not moving too fast. One thing I noticed is that the battery lasts less than 2 hours, even when starting from a full charge. I believe the battery drains quicker because I’m using the highest video quality available. That said, it doesn’t bother me much, since I plan to use a power bank for longer rides when rain isn’t expected. Setup was easy, and the camera is so lightweight that I forget I’m even wearing it. It also catches the attention of curious passersby, which is a nice bonus for visibility. Here are a few things to keep in mind: Wind noise is noticeable in the recordings. This might be adjustable through the settings, though I haven’t tried that yet. The Wi-Fi connection isn’t reliable while riding. The app often disconnects, and if you're using the app during a ride, there’s a good chance the recording will stop mid-commute. I recommend just riding with the camera on and reviewing the footage later — either via the app once you stop, or by downloading it from the SD card. Some other people mentioned the camera shuts off after 3 minutes — this is just a default setting in the app that you can change. I’d suggest checking and adjusting this before using the camera on the road for the first time. It works well in the rain, as long as you make sure to close the charging and SD card ports properly. The build quality feels solid — it doesn’t look cheap — and it comes with three different mounts for bike, motorcycle, and even horseback riding helmets, which is a really nice extra.

Not perfect, but nearly.
I've been testing the camera for a while before leaving a review. Firstly I did have need to contact support on this one and David answered within a couple of days and resolved my issue 100% so absolutely top marks on after sales support - you will get somebody UK based, and you will get a personal response. I drive, cycle and have in the past motorcycled - I'm pretty confident on 2 wheels, now being 40+ I can bunny hop and wheelie away to my hearts content - I ride a gravel bike on mainly roads but like to get off them whenever possible - I got the camera not because *I* was worried about me, I got the camera because my wife and son would be riding with me, and a very small percentage of drivers would just behave... dangerously, careless, stupid or outright impatient and horrible. I can deal with this if it's just me, I'll let it fly, I'm no angel on the road myself, I make progress, but I do drive to conditions, only go as fast as I can see to stop and will give those not in a nice warm box right of way because they're the vulnerable ones, I'm in a comfy chair with an engine after all it doesn't matter if I'm 30 seconds late. But with the wife and my lad, I did start to feel powerless with close passes, or, especially with my younger son, absolute disregard for right of way - I think because they see him and he's a young lad drivers just don't care, then they see me, 6 foot 3, big grizzly beard, and they stand down. The camera, it's mere presence has changed how drivers behave around us. 100% I've noticed a complete adjustment in passing distances and patience. It's a shame it's come to this, but I'm glad I've found a solution - and If I get a particularly nasty pass I can report that in online. I'm no 2 wheeled warrior posting every clip on youtube, nor do I make a point when I'm out just enjoying myself - I literally just want to be able to ride safely and keep my family safe too. Regarding the photos and the mounting, I tried the mounts in the box, the "telly tubby - on top of cycle helmet" mount was way too loose, and I couldn't make it tight enough to not wobble like crazy, and the wobbling plus higher centre of gravity you feel through the helmet. The footage was barely usable because of the wobbling. So I tried "on the side" of the helmet, this works on a motorcycle helmet because overall, the helmet is heavier and more snug on your head, on a cycle helmet, it pulls the helmet to one side and you have to wear it super tight. Footage was better, but uncomfortable to wear cycling. Lastly, I bought a shoulder mount, aka, the predator cannon, this worked better than helmet, but my head was constantly in view, and aiming it was a problem when you got on the drops - this will be relegated to running I think. Finally, I found the solution pictured, using the high density foam the camera came in, plus a mini-bungee - THIS solution works great, I had some other sticky foam which dampens the bumps and wobbles enough - and because it's flush to the helmet you don't look quite so dorky, BUT people still see it and the footage is good, front and back - rear I see the top of my back-pack plus the entire road. I'm using the 30FPS 2K mode, this seemed better than the 60FPS 1080p mode for me personally - it's good during the day, at night it's kinda meh, but I think they all are. You'd need to call out the reg of a car you wanted to report. Downsides, and the reason for 4 stars given the cost. - The mounting for cycle helmets needed me to figure it out. - There's a remote control to store the current video and lock it, but if you don't have the remote, there's no way to quickly do this, you just have to hope you have the clip when you get home. - No hardware stablisation - solution I've found to this is the mounting I've pictured, plus using software filters on the computer, that takes time, but if all you want is the reg, a frame by frame flick should get you that. - I'd have liked to be able to USBC the camera to my computer for charging, (which you can do) but ALSO to transfer pictures off - this is because the plastic cover for the SD card is very fiddly and a bit of a pain to remove. - The app is what I'd describe as "fine" it's unpolished, but it does work, once it's on your phone I'd suggest something like localSend to get it onto your PC / MAC Other things.. I used this as a dashcam on our recent trip to scotland, since it's batter powered it can be a sentry cam also for a few hours, with sleep mode, even longer. It picks up everything ahead, and the cockpit, our smiley faces, plus anything behind us albeit via the back window. I like how you can take pictures with the remote, this saves me getting out my phone on a bike ride where there's a particularly nice view. I like the shape, there's other cheaper cameras that are boxy, I didn't want boxy. Battery life seems decent, I've not drained it completely yet, I tend to ride for 1-4 hours depending on how I feel, and the waterproof cable supplied will allow me to hook it up to a power bank in my backpack. Overall, happy, it was expensive (to me) but the fact it's changing drivers around us, and, I feel like I have a way to report the really bad ones I think makes it worth it, again, to me.

Overall great product
Excellent product. Purchased a couple of months ago. Purchased previous cameras with mixed success in the past. Stopped wearing a camera some time ago but after two accidents in quick succession decided to get another one. Researched and reviewed lots of different makes and models. This was expensive but the advantage of front and back camera swayed it for me. I use it daily for commutes but also for longer cycle rides at the weekend. The quality is great and very clear on both thd front and back cameras. No problem with the camera setup, operation and connection to the app. My only comments are that the unit is relatively 'heavy' so I opted to mount the camera directly to the helmet rather that using the installation kit, which makes it much lighter. The only other comment is the battery life. It is lower than advertised when on the highest resolution but still better than other previous cameras. I have purchased a backup power bank so will use that for longer trips at the weekend. I haven't tried changing the camera resolution yet...I know that will extend the battery life. Very pleased with the product

Very good video feed, very good recording, but some charging and battery issues
Update: lost another 1 star because the battery is deteriorating New i got 2.5 hours - 2 weeks later 2,0 and now today 1.5 hours oh well it will be powerbank only soon I liked the video quality and i liked the ability to watch live feed This makes it very useful as a rear view mirror on a Bike But it uses its own Wifi connection to do this, so you have no internet if you use this feature wyze cams for example use your internet to connect etc It is good that they have moved to the ViiDure app its superior What i dont like is... I cant see the battery level in the app or device lost 1 star for no internet and no battery level

Great product
Great product, easy installation with good quality recordings. Has proven itself a fee times since purchase assisting with accidents that have happened to others. I tend to power it from my bike on longer rides as the battery dosnt always last the full ride.
