Yarn is good quality and it goes bright.

I got this yarn to test against the Lion brand Glow Yarn, which I crochet with very frequently. I love this one much better. It's not as stiff, which is easier on my joints, glows brighter, and lasts a little longer in the dark. It does split pretty easily, but that isn't a deal breaker for me. It is a fantastic price and I will purchase this and the other colors available again in the future.

It's fun yarn, and I imagine the downsides of it (pretty expensive, comes apart at the ends, and is fairly thin) are the same as what you'd get with any glow in the dark yarn. I'd say it glows well compared to other glow in the dark products. The skeins are small but good for amigurumi--I made these two mini ducks with one skein and still have enough in the skein for another half duck or so. (Pattern: Good Luck Duck by Sweet Softies) For me, it was worth it for glow in the dark yarn!

Wonderful color! it really lights up under my blacklight and stays lit up for a solid two minutes. its a bit spendy but definitely worth it. i love this yarn!

Kid loves this yarn

This yarn really glows. I did charge up the yarn before taking pictures by holding it under a lamp for about ten seconds. The green glow is quite bright and lasts longer than I thought it would. There are 5 small bundles of yarn. I crocheted a baseball sized snowball with one bundle along with the start of one arm of my next project and I still have quite a bit of yarn in my first little bundle. The texture of the yarn is similar to the cotton yarn I use to make dishcloths. While working with this yarn I did have a lot of splitting of the yarn on my hook. It wasn’t so challenging that I was discouraged. It is just a little more challenging as a beginner. I will come back and buy more yarn when I have depleted my supply because who doesn’t love something that glows in the dark. Especially this scaredy cat.

This is the second time I ordered this brand of yarn, as I was trying to give them the benefit of the doubt, but what a waste. It's so frayed at the ends it just comes apart when you try to crochet with it and whatever material it is I can't even melt the ends with a lighter to keep it together. Not to mention, who sets yarn up to be worked from the outside? I tried with 2 of the skeins to get the end out of the center but it was such a mess I couldn't get it out and had to roll the damn thing into a ball so I wasn't working from the outside of the skein and tangling it more. Never again. The color and glow are decent but worthless when the yarn just comes apart.

Not worth the money!! Was advertised as as 196 grams each. The large on the right is what was expected. The white on the top is a 50 gram ball and the pink is about 25-30 grams.

It glows well! Make sure you read how much you're getting- the pictures could be very misleading. The skeins are TINY.
