These meal preparation boxes are terrific and I'd certainly recommend. Both top and bottom are made from a fairly thick, very sturdy plastic that seems like it will be long lasting and they arrived in perfect condition. A big advantage from other similar divided plate sets is the compact design. When empty, the 12 boxes with lids fit snugly together to form a small "box" that's only about 6" high so they don't take up much room in the cupboard and when full, they stack well in a freezer because they're perfectly flat top and bottom. The lids fit tightly to the bottom to the point that they're a little hard to get off so it remains to be seen how well that will wear or whether they'll start to tear. I use them to hold full homemade meals, leftovers or from scratch, which I freeze and can defrost and use as needed and I like the 4 sections (most of these only have 3) as more room for variety or to have a separate place for gravy or even a little warm dessert or cold dip. They're great for preparing meals in advance for singles or seniors who may not eat properly if they don't have ready made homemade meals. All in all, I'm happy with the product.

good meal containers. i'm doing a meal prep right now and working with a trainer so i snagged some of these up and this is the first time ive owned meal containers. I like how they stack on them selves, and how you can use the lid as a serving tray. that to me is why they are a good design. my only caveat with these is the lids are a little funky and are somewhat difficult to get off. good product all in all

I had high hopes after reading a few other reviewers found these to be high quality. These are medium quality take-out boxes at best and not of the quality I had hoped (wanted for repeat usage with kids' lunches). Several of the lids cracked on first use and I did not machine wash them. Also, these are not easy to close or open - there is no latch or obvious way to tell if it's closed. You have to just press it on and then pry it off, not easy for kids (or this adult!) to do. The black base on one chipped and flew off as I tried to pry the lid off of one, leaving a sharp edge. Had to order a different product, which is a shame because the size & number of compartments is great.

I need to lose weight so i started to pack my own lunch, and this box provides a perfect box for my situation. One of the things i like about the bento box is that its divided neatly into 4 columns with more than enough spaces so you can pack a pretty decent lunch without being hungry. I really liked that the lids are very solid so the a little liquid from the food does not leak if you carry it carefully. I would highly recommend.

I like that it has multiple compartments - three small and one large. However it’s a cheaply made product. It’s a really thin and bendable plastic. The lip that the kid snaps on to has cracked. These are good for one or two uses and then the seal isn’t right enough and you run the risk of leaks. It says microwave safe, however the plastic is so thin I wouldn’t trust it to hold it’s integrity when microwaved. I definitely will not be buying this brand again.

These are the worst containers I’ve ever purchased. I received them today and all of the trays arrived cracked and broken.They are made of low quality, cheap, flimsy, paper-thin plastic that reminds me of the material used for those cheap children’s Halloween masks that are made of plastic and held in place with an elastic band.There is no way these would survive a dishwasher or microwave. Look elsewhere if you’re looking for some quality meal-prep trays and don’t waste your money on these.

They'll get the job done, but they're pretty flimsy.

I have meal prepped my lunch for the week, thus far I am impressed. They appear to be leak proof! GREAT price for the value of these. I will probably order more in the future. They were neatly packaged as well. Bravo! Thumbs up!
