In today's day and age where you pretty much can rely on your smart phone as an alarm clock this updated and modernized alarm clock is a real nice addition to any bedroom. The bright (dimming) light is relaxing and shows the time well. Alarm functions are easy to set and has a nice FM radio (No AM). The best feature is the USB charging port to plug your smart devices into for charging. Eliminating the need to use an additional outlet.

Really cool looking clock - but piece of trash quality. Broke after a couple months.

Great display, sound quality much better than expected. Tiny print instructions, breakout your reading glasses. Instructions could be simplified. Of given add a gift read instruction and set for gift recipient., to avoid frustration for giftee.

The negative reviews are not wrong. That being said, what do you expect for $10? I bought this for one reason only: large and bright block display in the color and style I prefer. GREAT for viewing from a distance even in brightly lot areas, bad for the night stand as even the dim setting is too bright. One positive note, the alarm is VERY loud ND wakes me up when others don't... AND it doesn't stop going off until you interact with it. Perfect for a heavy sleeper like me, I just have to lay it face down at night because I hate light pollution and prefer total darkness. I will likely end up moving this to my workshop up high on the wall as it is bright and easy to read from afar. Backup battery functionality is nice but you do have to provide your own CR2032 (very common cell). This is a great buy if your expectations aren't unreasonably expecting the perfect bedside alarm clock for $10, that's just not realistic. Overall the sound quality is bad for music and great for talk radio with a reasonable amount of volume, although not recommended for loud areas.

I love the large, bright, adjustable display. If you turn it up, it also doubles as a night light! The radio works well and the settings are easy to use with all the buttons on the top of the clock. A great bedside clock/alarm/radio.

Large display looks cool and everything works as it should. Setting the time was easy. The only thing that I think may be a negative to some is the brightness of the numbers. If you are placing this clock near your face on a night stand, it will probably be too bright, even on the lowest dimmer setting. I have mine across the room, so it is not a problem for me

It took me a bit to get the time, etc set but that's my fault. I was distracted and tried to rush it. Just follow the instructions step by step - and you'll do fine. At first the display seemed overbright, even on the low setting, but I'm used to it now and it's fine. It's great to be able to see the time from any place in the room without straining my eyes.It's nice that you can preset radio buttons and not have to search everytime you want to change stations. Very happy with this unit.

Way too bright and feels like it's cheaply made. I don't mind the brightness so much but I have bad eyes. My wife on the other hand has very good eyesite and she said even from across the room it feels like she staring into the sun (if only the sun were blue). I probably won't return them-(I bought 2) but can't use regularly. I'll probably put one in my guest room and maybe the other in the office or basement. I can't recommend this product.
