HIGHLY RECOMMEND! This is a great addition to you DnD games. It helps immerse you into the world you are in. PROS- -Comes with a nice durable tube for traveling and storing -Can use dry erase markers one it. (4 colors with it. Red, Black, Blue, and Green and eraser) -Comes with 4 straighten clips which helps a lot with map trying roll back up without them -A two pack is more than enough for almost any terrain. (No lava zone but you got red marker for that!) -It has a Compass (cardinal directions) but not labeled which is great so you can add it in yourself! CONS -It is a bit bulky storage. Thick cardboard -Straighten clips are only for long sides. The short sides do curl up a bit so had to use props to hold down -Maps are reverse sides. So if you wanted to put 2 maps together you couldnt match forest and beach at same time. Closing Notes Even with those few cons I still give this 5 stars! I have used this on many games so far and plan on continuing to use it as long as I DM. It is plain which gives enough freedom to place props where I want without the background being to setup with making paths that I dont want. The markers are a great addition to these maps to add shore lines on a beach, adding circles for freezing zones, red squiggles to mark a spot for fire walking for your group, or what ever you need. (like I did for my lighthouse One Shot) The only thing that annoys me a little is that the ends that do not have the straighten clips bumps up a bit but even that is not a big deal cause I fill my map with random stuff to add more to the world. Great Item. Well worth the price! If you DM GET THIS!

Great product! The laminate is thicker than the orcs you’ll play as. Which means when the dice get to rolling and a fat monster decides to appear on the maps, at least your maps safe. It’s shiny! Which means it competes with your fireballs (we’re watching you Dave the wizard). The plastic trimming slides on the edges better than your parties bard can slide into anything else. The markers will probably last you as long as your fighters dream of finally kissing the princess with consent (so 50/50). The erasers are so good, they are probably the bbg in disguise ready to erase your team. Lastly those double sides are great for everything from aura farming upon your foes (walking on lava) to having to guess whether it’s the swamp that smells or the bard might need to get checked b4 an std wipes them out b4 the bbg does. Anyways totally recommend and I hope that your legends live on forever!

Overall this is a great product for any table top gamer. Whether purchasing for yourself or as a gift for another. Quality is good, price is right, and the materials added do the job. Would highly recommend. Quality: The seperate mats have great pictures for different terrains and immersions. Some are a bit darker than necessary and makes it hard to see or read anything you mark on them. The lamination is well done all the way around which makes it easy to clean with a dry erase or water washable marker. Price: The price for 3 mats with 6 total images is rather good. Most Mats cost as much as this one but only give you the single basic square/hex grid. Durability: They are laminated rather well and after several gaming sessions are holding out well. However, because they are double sided and do not have a thick or sturdier back side that others do. They are susceptible to being creased or bent on the edges much easier. With careful use and proper treatment this can be avboided and has yet to happen to me. Materials: It comes with 4 dry erase markers (red, green, black, and blue), an eraser, and 4 plastic side rails. The side rails do an excellent job of keeping the mats flat and usable. The addition of the rails is a huge plus.

The grids are generic and uninspiring, lacking the thematic elements and customization options that enhance immersion and engagement in tabletop role-playing games like Dungeons and Dragons. Overpriced for Quality: Considering the poor quality and limited functionality of the TIDYBOSS Dungeons and Dragons Starter Set, the price point is unjustifiably high. There are more affordable alternatives on the market that offer better quality and performance, making this starter set an unwise investment for aspiring dungeon masters and players. Beautiful art, dry erase wipes off easily, and everything rolls up to store very easily!

They look fantastic and we cannot wait to use them for our DnD campaign. The quality is great and the value for 6 scenes is worth the expenditure in my opinion. We are going to be doing a Zelda-esque campaign so need the terrain variety to make Hyrule really pop.

These maps have seen so much use! I’ve had to buy more dry wipe pens because I used up the ones that came with it. Very handy set for playing a D&D campaign! Large, and easy to wipe clean.
