Works Really Well
I used to put my outdoor sensor by the porch, however it always read a few degrees too low. Now with this vented housing, my temperature is correct.

Weather station protection
The plastic isn’t too strong but it serves its purpose and protects my weather station from the elements and gives me greater flexibility for mounting.

Cost to value ratio poor
Star rating based on product cost vs quality of item. Bought for the convenience, moved my sensor to a different location to end the need for a ladder to service due sensor not reading or batteries needing replacement (had mounted on the north most side of my 2 story garage about 1 ft below overhang still got wet and I needed my 12ft ladder or ext ladder to reach) Kinda of a cheap (really cheap plastic in my opinion) product for the price, but if it can keep the sensor dry and prevent it from failing due to moisture I’ll be happy.

Could not paur with base. Green light didn't come on. Returning.
