Insta360 Third-Person Backpack Mount

If you have a insta360 X3 or 4 and you don't want to constantly hold a selfie stick to get cool 3rd person-style videos then this is the accessory for you! It fits on pretty much any backpack (i've used it on large and small ones) and it attaches fairly well. It's not the most sophisticated way to attach something to a backpack, but I guess that's how it goes when something works universally across all types of backpacks. Anyway, as long as you have it secured, it works great! Kinda creepy just how good the "drone-like" video turns out!

Was surprised to see that the mount could be configured in different ways. A bit on the heavy side if your considering hiking and weight management. However, very well built.

Product as advertized. Be aware that the straps cause it to wiggle as you walk, the stabilization fixes it in the film but the camera still moves around on the backpack so its weird. Also, if you're LASH or thru this part is really heavy.

I bought this to rebuild it into a back mount without using a backpack. I see a lot of complaints here about there being no back mounts for Insta360 cameras, so I'm sharing how I did this. Get webbing 1 1/4” wide and two side-release buckles. Remove two upper straps out of backpack camera mount and make shoulder straps with your webbing and buckles using upper and lower mount slits. Adjust lower mount straps so they fit your chest and you’re done. This mount is not sturdy enough to keep your camera out of wobbling when using the whole length of a standard camera stick, but it works pretty well for middle length.

The thought is great, but it does not work. The pole it comes with is way too short, the camera ends up at the back of your head. If you use the selfie stick, it’s too heavy and won’t stay up. There is no great way to connect this to your backpack, it’s bulk and heavy and not worth the hassle. Super disappointed

The mount worked great on my cheat protector while riding motocross. I got about 5 minutes on it before the pole snapped. Mount worked great but the pole thay comes with it is cheap

Want to feel like you’re in a video game? This is the mount to get! I love how easy it was to snap onto any backpack and start moving. However, I found maintaining shot stability a bit challenging. To reduce movement, make sure your backpack is properly filled to minimize gaps between the mount and the pack itself. Overall, it’s a fantastic accessory for capturing action-packed moments on the go.

Build quality and function are great, acceptable for the price. I like this product for the most part, and I am happy with its ability to fit many different sized backpacks. My one problem with this is: the included rod is far too small! Maybe using the invisible selfie stick instead could mitigate this? I have not been able to try… but I feel like it would be too heavy. Again, i havent tried, so that is just my speculation. The included rod is not really tall enough to get past your head. This is fine for some shots, but I think limits the full potential of the product. I would love to see different sized rods sold separately or as part of a bundle as an improvement to this product.

Got this backpack mount over the belt mount because of the negative reviews on the belt mount where the holder has broken off. Looks like a design flaw. The back pack mount has a nice sturdy mount, and balljoint system, and they supply a short 10" carbon fibre rod, or you can use the invisible selfie stick. The short rod is not extendable, but if the mount is set higher on your backpack, your camera will sit about 4-6 inches above your head when walking around. Going higher with the selfie stick can be a concern when walking around, espcially if going indoors, as you don't want to smack your camera on doorways, and arches. So far, very happy with the design, and build quality of the pack mount. If you have the 360 X3 camera, and you want uniques drone shots, this is a definite must have.

Die Idee für die Halterung ist echt super und man kann grundsätzlich auch gute Aufnahmen damit machen. ABER: die Qualität passt nicht zum Preis, die Halterung selber ist massiv aus Alu und scheint ganz OK. Die Riemchen zum befestigen sind aber schlecht vernäht. Nach nur einer Abfahrt ging eine Naht auf und aus einem Teil wurden zwei. vgl. Bild unten ist die Schlaufe noch vernäht, oben nicht mehr ... So sitzt die Halterung nicht mehr fest auf dem Rucksack. Die Befestigung ist auch nicht ausreichend durchdacht. Der Rucksack muss schon sehr voll sein um die Halterung stabil zu befestigen. Ansonsten ist die Platte zu klein und das Ganze wackelt hin und her. Alles wird nur mit Klettband-Riemchen befestigt. Die Schlaufen sind sehr klein und dürften daher nicht an alle Rücksäcke passen. An meinen Bike-Rucksack ging es nicht da die Träger unten zu breit sind. Wenn man das ganze dann doch irgendwie fest bekommt, sind die Aufnahmen und die Perspektive aber echt super ... Schade eigentlich aber der Artikel geht zurück.

Facile à fixer au sac à dos pour un rendu au top ! J'ai acheter cette fixation de sac à dos pour ma insta 360 X4 afin d'avoir une vue en 3ième personne comme si un drone me filmais de derrière en j'en suis ravie ! Lors de mes sorties randos et ski je n'ai plus besoin de prendre mon drone (quand je veux partir léger) et je peux avoir un rendu parfait pour mes vidéos. Je ne mets pas 5 étoiles car je trouve quand même le prix un élevés..
