This is my problem solver with my car. Has never let me down yet
Pretty expensive but it is made very well and is very durable. The torque on this thing is unreal and this is a game changer when you need that extra little bit of work. Doesn't go really hard on batteries and I have found more purposes for it and I can imagine. DeWalt really killed it on this one.

Converting from pneumatic
Always used air tools but decided to try this out due to having other Dewalt tools/batteries. Was really impressed by its torque, battery life, and quality. It’s also nice not being connected to an air hose and its size is enough to fit in tighter spaces but not too small to not feel cheap. Overall this works really well.

3 months use
Works well, is a good bit heaver than the dcf899 for sure but got this since it finally broke, the shaft that goes from the planetary twisted into a spriel shape and can't be used anymore. This does seem to have a lot more power to it and weight as mentioned before, also definitely a little more of a hand full when trying loosen something really tight, mainly glad for new battery dampening and grip or sure would be a lot worse in the hands. But saves a ton of time and effort getting all the bolts out easily and quickly, battery life also depends on battery's, seems to so far like the powerstack batteries but will last a long time with no issues on a normal 4ah one to.

Price point,power,durability
I’ve had this for 2 days I got to use it at work is all so far. I bought this tool only then a 8 amp hour powerstack that was on sale for it and so far been very surprised. I’ve been told nothing but to be careful and that it dumb to use it for taking wheel ends off trucks (I work on semi trucks and trailers a lot of tires and brakes) but I wasn’t worried and figured if I use it enough right away money back within 30 days dewalt says. So far out of 14 different wheel ends between 6 or so different truck or trailer’s I’ve had 4 lug nuts on one trailer it didn’t want to take off on one wheel end. Took all the others off and few them didn’t think where coming then did but 4 did not and even our normal 1 inch Ingersoll Rand air gun wouldn’t budge it had to use the one that’s like twice the weight but still 1 inch to break them loose and even that struggled. I didn’t even give up with the dewalt though I sat on one the lugs after I got all other 6 off and held the trigger for solid 2 minutes or more before it over heated and shut itself off and would let me try after a few seconds then shutoff again until it acted like it was dead and I couldn’t even tould the metal part of it . 3 minutes of that later I held it on there for another 30 seconds before I got the air gun because it was smelling like burnt electrical . Snap on can lick it. Only complaint is the metal is obviously like cast aluminum and pretty soft be careful you don’t have any part of the tool resting on part of anything you impacting on you’ll tear it up easy or pinch your hand thing eats. I’ll update this review in a month or more if it don’t break by then.

Yeah, it's awesome. But before pulling the trigger on this, ask yourself a couple of questions first
Is it legal to give this less than 5-stars? I feel like if I rated it anything else, I would be obliged to fill out paperwork and have a meeting with the chief engineer or something. So, I'm not going to do that. But at the same time, I did return this item. Why did I return it? 1. It's *heavy*. At first you may like that it feels ridiculously sturdy. But get under a car with it and try getting it up into the motor area to pull a bolt and see how you feel about all of that weight with a 9Ah FlexVolt slammed onto this bad boy. 2. That's assuming you can even get this beast into the engine compartment anywhere. You probably can't. So now you have to put extenders on it to be able to reach. That is not without a price. Extenders eat torque like Lucky Charms... and you know how delicious Lucky Charms are! Having to use an extension kind of defeats the point of having all of this power. 3. Unless you frequently find yourself in the position of having to build a suspension bridge by yourself, you probably don't need this. It's overkill for any kind of auto repair I know of. Maybe if you work on big rigs or something. I don't know about that. But if you're planning on using this for anything at all related to your Toyota, just stop and think this through first. Before buying this, ask yourself some pointed questions: 1. Do I have an imminent problem that requires well over 1,000ft-lbs of torque to solve? No, that stuck axle nut does not require 1,000+ ft-lbs to remove. I promise you, it doesn't. 2. How many times am I likely to use a tool like this in my lifetime? If you're not going to be using this as part of your profession, the answer is no greater than 3. So if you replied to those questions with something like: "Dozens of times per day" or "I need to drive 1,000 ham sandwiches through a 3" thick wall of solid plate steel", then you know where the "Buy Now" button is. As for the rest of you, there are some good deals to be had on the older models. You can pick one up for half the price of this one that will do everything you'll ever need to do, plus it'll be lighter and easier to maneuver into tight spaces. Win, win, win!

Works awesome, just need to make sure you got a full battery or a mostly full battery to maximize the breakaway power.
