An advanced spackling solution...
This is a good spackling compound for patching small nail holes and minor wall crevices.

Solid, easy to use, doesn’t create dust
Dries fast. East af to use. Doesn’t leave a bunch of dust in the air afterwards. Used to fix a bunch of things my NYC superintended pulled a ‘landlord special’ on. Because ocd. It’s great.

I ordered this by accident thinking it was regular spackle
So this will work fine to cover 1-2 small holes. However, I ordered it thinking it was regular spackle and it is not and I needed to fix an entire bathroom where the person I hired damaged the drywall taking the wallpaper off. Total mess. Needed to spackle and then sand and then paint, and then do it again to get the places I missed. The whole bathroom is a mess. This does not go on nearly as smoothly as regular spackle. It is more rubbery. For a few small patches, no big deal, but for doing a whole bathroom it is a total hassle because you have to put it on thinker to get good coverage and get it to be somewhat smooth. I ordered it because I didn't want to go to Lowes and buy any so I just got whatever I could order from amazon to arrive soon (because of covid-19 - didn't want to get out). So it is okay but only for very small holes/projects. Not for anything major.

this is a time saving product for patching
This is great stuff. I was expecting it to not work as well as advertised. I used it to fill around the cut-in for an old work box (electrical wiring), where I damaged the drywall a bit, and was expecting to have to use more than one coat. Nope! It may have shrank a little bit, but not much, so I didn't have to go back. This dried or cured in about 30 minutes, and was ready to paint. I used an old credit card to do the fill, and the texture match was fine to the flat paint. This is white, and since the outlet was in a utility room and the walls were white, I didn't even have to paint. The consistency is kind of weird, like spackle, but it holds together better, sticks a little better, and sets up much nicer. Very easy to work with, I didn't have to sand it, and I'm not coordinated enough to do that with regular spackle. Strong enough to work on the corner around an electrical box, but of course not strong enough for screw or device holding. I think if you work in the trades, other than new construction, and have to fix your own drywall dings, you need this stuff. It really does save time. For a homeowner, you can do the multi-step thing w/ any patch material - apply, wait, apply more, wait, , sand, prime, wait, paint, but this stuff saves a lot of that work.

Only for quick projects
I bought this product last year and it worked great. I didn't know what I was doing so I watched a few YouTube videos and it was pretty simple. I mixed it up then used a putty to apply it to the areas that I wanted to cover. Once it dried, which was really quick, I sanded it and then painted the area. I had a lot left over so I stored it because I knew I would need it for later and that day came. I opened it back up and to my surprise it was hard as rock. I was confused because I stored it properly but it completely dried out. So now it's useless. I wouldn't recommend getting this size unless you're working on a big project. I only had three small holes and I should have just gotten the tube one but the label confused me because it said if the size of the hole was bigger then to get this one but I should have just followed my instincts.

This patch material is great
I've used DAP and Elmer's in the past, but I had tried one of those on a real bad area I had to fix because of moisture damage. I wasn't happy with the way it worked. Then I had a recurrence of the moisture damage which was even worse the 2nd time around so I went on a search and this was the one I decided to try. It's not quite as easy to work with as the others I've used, but not hard to work with either and did a fabulous job. I was afraid the sheetrock might have to be replaced, but this 3M Patch did a great job and that wasn't necessary. You can't even see where the damage was.

I love this filler due to the fact that it is made with built in primer. This means I can spend less time using primer and simply put a coat of paint over the filler. I am a professional painter and it is my go to filler for small drywall repairs, but mostly for nail hole filling in trim before it is painted.

Excellent quality product.

Great smooth filling. One minus is that it dries too fast when being particular while applying
