TN480U 8-Bay LCD Display Fast Charger with 8 Pack AA and 8 Pack AAA Premium Pro Rechargeable Batteries

I have used it a few times only so far. However, it seems to be an Extremely Good Charger. I have the Panasonic Enloop Batteries (AA and AAA). Unfortunately, the Panasonic 4-Battery Charger started malfunctioning. Initially I didn't know whether it was the Charger or the Batteries themselves which had gone bad. I then decided to purchase this Charger and give it a try. The result was amazing. I could charge 8-Batteries together - with AA and AAA types mixed - and each one of them got charged perfectly. There was nothing wrong with any of the Batteries as far as I could see. The "Charging Speed" seemed all right to me too. Of course, I am never in so much of a hurry while charging AA or AAA Batteries! I will surely recommend this Charger. If it stops functioning much too soon I might come back and re-evaluate, but I really expect it to last long though.

I bought the combo pack with charger, 8 AA and 8AAA batteries. Batteries perform well but rechargeable batteries take a long time to evaluate discharge rate and number of charges they can take. I can comment on the charger. Arrived on time. Charge time is good. Shows progress and won’t overcharge. Great thing about this charger is that it charges single or odd numbers of batteries. I have 2 other chargers but they charge sets of 2 or 4. I have almost nothing that uses an even number of batteries. Example-small LED flashlights typically take 3. The ability to charge sets of batteries at the same time is well worth the price so I am pleased with the purchase.

Works perfectly, while it does charge somewhat slow (5-6 hrs for high capacity AA), it does a great job keeping the batteries cool. For those wondering what its Maximum USB power input requirement is, it's 5v - 2A (10 watts). I attached the manual that shows all the charging specs.

I'd give it 5 stars, but I'm only getting an average capacity of 822 mah out of an advertised 1000 mah (testing with an Opus BT-C3100). This was my first test on new batteries, so I cannot comment on older ones that have been through many cycles. I still recommend this charger and the batteries if they're included. I paid an extra $2 for 8 AAA NiMH to be included, which is a great deal. I will try to update this review after I've put the AAA NiMH through some use.

This review is for the 8AA/charger bundle. I picked these up to use with some under-cabinet lights that were going through disposable batteries like a hot knife through butter. It's been nice to pop these out when they drain (they last far longer than the disposable batteries did), give them a charge, and pop them right back in. The charger is KISS genius—works on 2 battery sizes (AA/AAA), very intuitive, no struggling to get the batteries in or out, and tells me at a glance how the charge is progressing for each separate battery. Visibility of the charge meters is excellent. USB connection means you can plug it in anywhere (tho you'll have to supply your own AC wall wart or DC car adapter if you want to use those). There's a burr under my saddle, tho. If I had *nine* batteries, I could have 3 at the ready when I need them, then the 3 dead ones would be charged in time for the next replacement, lather rinse repeat. But no. Since it is only *eight*, I have to leave a light out of service while the batteries recharge—which is not particularly fast. (If slow charge means slow *dis*charge, I'm fine with that!) And I'm using the same 6 batteries over and over because I don't think about rotating them. The logical solution to that would be to buy more batteries. Except you can't buy the type of batteries that come with the charger. You can only buy 2 *other* kinds of batteries, with different power ratings. It's not clear to me whether it is safe to charge/use these incongruous batteries together, so I have not bought them. Not sure if the seller has discontinued these blue batteries and is just trying to offload them by bundling them with the charger, but not being able to buy more of the same has been annoying. I originally intended to give 4 stars because of this annoyance; but I'm so happy with the products overall that I didn't want to discourage anyone from buying this brand. My advice would be to buy the charger separately from whichever type of battery you prefer. Also consider buying multiple chargers based on the number of batteries you'll be using. (Yes I know they offer larger chargers, but they are AC/DC only, not USB.)

Highly recommend ! Best batteries I've ever bought outclasts everything avnt had to recharge any of them yet. That I've used and is an American company out of California and supplies heavy industry. Charger is well built and charges quick 2nd order of these batteries I've bought.

These hold a charge very well. They are also quick to charge. I like that there is a battery power display so you can see how full each battery is.

I got this charger based on Consumer Report reviews. I was looking for a lithium battery charger as I use these batteries in my garden solar lights. I just got it and put 8 AA batteries in it (the maximum number it will hold is 8). It took 2 hours to recharge my dead batteries. It is easy to use but if you are going to plug it into the wall then you will need the plug adapter as it only comes with a micro USB cord. Other than that, it is simple to use and does the job. I am very pleased.
