My husband and I started our fertility journey about a year and a half ago. My husband has a rare genetic condition requiring him to be on a specialized medication schedule, limiting our time each month and throughout the year. So the push to learn about my monthly cycle was very needed. I gathered a lot of different fertility tracking materials. One of the others I had, mentioned in the daily section Proov PDG. I was like, what is that? I did my research and discovered the proov sets. I quickly settled on the Proov complete kit as it tested four of my hormones throughout my cycle, showing me the most comprehensive picture. Proov complete tests your FSH (follicule stimulating hormone) and ovarian reserve; it tests your E1G which is your estrogen hormone; it tests your BLH( Beta Lutenizing Hormone) which is what starts to rise and eventually peaks a few days before ovulation; and finally the pdg( progesterone hormone) which rises after a successful ovulation, and is needed to maintain your baby's first few weeks of life. I loved how easy to use the app was, all I needed to do was pee first thing in the morning and then use the test strip, dip it in for a few seconds, put it on the included card in the correct direction ( the card labels the direction) and wait 10 minutes. It was even nice that the app included a timer. I did discover quite quickly that you couldn't go off the timer screen, or let your phone go dark or you would lose the timer. So I know use my phones timer, just so I can multi task in the morning. When the 10 minutes are up the app directs you on taking a picture, and then analyzes your results and gives you an immediate response, on a color coded chart. It also let's you know if you found the specials like your peak LH surge or your Pdg is rising and more! I find it so very easy to use and so informative and helpful for knowing about my cycle. The app also has helpful hints for foods, mind and spirit at the different times of your cycle! Recently they updated the app, and it is even better! I would highly recommend this product if you are beginning your ttc part of life!

I’ve used this twice. 1st time I was able to track my ovulation very precisely. I followed the LH surge and knew I conceived even before the positive pregnancy test. It was fun to use and taught me a lot about the hormones needed to get pregnant and sustain a pregnancy. I learned my progesterone was a little low so I supplemented with some oils from the company.I used it recently to try to conceive again. I haven’t gotten pregnant yet. But it was a good refresher to see how I was ovulating and learn about my ovarian reserve since I am over the age of 35. According to Proov my hormone levels are where they need to be to sustain a pregnancy so now it’s just trying every month.

I hate Proov - with an absolute passion, they are expensive - UNNECESSARILY expensive.I took the first test everything was where they were supposed to be, estrogen climbing. I called my OB the next day in a panic because my estrogen levels were so low and she told me that wasn't right - 3 tests from Proov all estrogen levels were near 0 - defective. Then the next one estrogen was normal again. I got pregnant, but I don't credit Proov for it, I only wanted to track PDG and Estrogen during my cycle I trusted PreMom to predict ovulation and give actual insights.Proov doesn't give you insights into anything, it barely gives you any heads up to what comes next. You can look at the next day in the app and it won't even tell you that it's a testing day or which test to take, not until that morning will Proov deign to tell you want to do. It's really annoying, you HAVE TO READ THE FINE PRINT MANUALS to get any idea of what comes next because the app is near useless except as a test capturer - and even that is really bad.Capture window in the app is absolutely infuriating. It takes nearly 10 more minutes for the app to accept the picture. I have proper lighting, no shadows, I make sure to clean the lens so there's no debris, but it doesn't focus, it doesn't auto capture and it doesn't accept the picture taken 8 out of 10 times.There is no good experience with Proov that I can think of - maybe that my last cycle I knew a week early that I wasn't pregnant because my PDG levels dropped on the pdg only strips. But now that I know that the estrogen part of the multi hormone was defective I wouldn't tell anyone that any kit of Proov is reliable.I wish Easy@Home sold PDG and Estrogen strips or even multi-hormone strips, everything about Easy@Home is EASY and Proov is just obnoxious and infuriating because of how stupidly expensive it is and how unhelpful and uninsightful their app is for the price you pay.I tracked with Proov and Easy@Home PreMom - use easy at home, if you need to track PDG and Estrogen, try Inito before trying Proov. The Proov app made me want to throw my phone nearly every test.

Very useful system so far. My wife and I have been using these kits for a few months and it has been helpful to be able to track certain hormones, and for both of us to have access to the app. To ease her mental load, I have the app downloaded and I do the testing in the mornings so she doesn't have to worry about it as much. And we've found that really allows her to have one fewer thing to worry about.When we have a question, Proov's support team has been very responsive and helpful, and their FB group is helpful as well. They also occasionally ask for feedback from users, which is cool to see and hopefully we'll see some of the suggestions implemented soon (like being able to log multiple tests in the same day, for example). We also like that we can print out a report at the end of each cycle that we've been able to take to our Gyno to review and strategize with. Overall, I would recommend Proov :)
