Out of the box, this product appeared solid and I had high hopes. It was heavy and appeared to be well built. I locked my sea container twice with this and, on the third try the locking mechanism would no longer stay in position and keep it locked. Unfortunate. The product itself seems to be of good quality but the locking mechanism is junk and I returned it.

these are great for securing the container; it is adjustable which is nice. it is heavy to boot! it will definitely slow down someone trying to get in!

I needed a good lock to protect the contents of a 40-foot shipping container I sent to Europe. I used shackle locks to secure the container doors but also wanted a lock that couldn't easily be cut with a bolt cutter. This lock did the job perfectly! It is made of very heavy gauge steel and once locked on the container doors, it would require much effort to cut off. I know that no lock is going to stop a determined thief from breaking in, but this will certainly make them think twice before attempting it!

Nice lock!!!! I drive and stay in different cities. Alot of shady characters walking around. Regular pad locks got cut and broken into trailer. Since I've gotten this lock trailer is safe and thieves can't get in!!!

Purchased two lock this and a organe one on Amazon . This one is heavy duty and much more sturdy. But fix on container a little loose is my only complaint. Let see how they each hold up over time. Better locking pin and lock than other orange version...
