Awesome Pen
Great pen no skipping and writes smooth as silk. Grip is very squishy and comfortable to hold. I write many letters and love using this one. Refills are affordable. Ink is lighter than others, almost more gray than black at times. Easy to hold and no smearing from me as a righty.

Writes Nicely - Build Quality Not Worth it
This pen writes very smooth - like a normal Uni Jetstream. However, I don't think the build quality lives up to its premium price. It's fine - doesn't seem like it's going to break or anything, and it seems like some kind of aluminum - but it doesn't have much weight to it. I would probably just buy a regular Uni Jetstream pack instead - I think you could get three for the price of this one pen. As a comparison, there is a premium, metal G2 pen that is available for approximately the same price as this and the build quality feels much better.

EXCELLENT Pen for Death Grippers
A couple things to consider.. 1.) Comfort and 2.) Ink... 1.) Comfort- If you're looking at this pen because you grip too hard when you write and it hurts, this pen will be a life saver. Writing several hours a day caused me to develop a callus on the top of my middle finger and cramping in my pointer and thumb. The soft gel grip of this pen eliminated all of that. No more cramping, and the callus is going away now. The Gel actually softens a bit too as it absorbs heat from your fingers, so its as if it rewards you with a softer feel as you continue to write. Nice! 2.) Ink- I was elated seeing reviewers mention Energel refills work in this pen. Energel's were my go to prior to recent extended writing sessions. They just glide better than G2's in my opinion, despite ppl swearing by the G2. I figured if the grip on this pen worked out for me and also accepted Energel refills.. win win, right? Well I tested them, and they do work, however, I came to the conclusion that I prefer the ink that came in the pen instead! I compared (all 0.7) G2's, Energel Metal tip, Energel Needle tip, and the SXR-7 refills, and the smoothest was the SXR. They are close to the Energel Needle tips, and I could easily use those in a pinch if I ran out of SXR refills for the JetStream. But overall, the refill that came in the pen felt the smoothest to me, so I purchased more of those. And since I loved this pen so much I purchased another one in Silver. Amazing pen! Definitely turning into a life saver for me personally.

These are the pens I refuse to let anyone else borrow even for a second!
My favorite pens ever. The grip is awesome for anti-fatigue. They flow so extremely smooth with little resistance which allows my hand to not get so tired! They have a nice amount of weight and fit well in my grip… honestly it’s hard for me to use any other pen than this! I’ve bought multiple of these pens to have around and they have all held up really well for as much use as they get. The grip doesn’t stretch off but remains extra squishy. I use them often in my Bible notes where I would typically have issues with smearing, but not with these!

Hands down best ball point pen ever
This is my holy grail combination of pen and ink. Absolutely uncontested best ballpoint pen. The Jetstream ink is SO smooth and the alphagel is so comfortable, I find myself looking for reasons to write more. I bought a few to surprise everyone in my study group (I had previously made them all try mine so they could see how great it was) and they all love it. This is a great price and the white and silver looks really snazzy in person! I also have the black body, which looks equally as high end.

All the Jetstream benefits, now with a grip!
So I've been a fan of the Uni Jetstream line of pens since I first bought one in college. I've lost a bunch of them, so it was about time to get a new one. This time around, I decided to spend a little more to get one with a grip. (I also hope that this way, I'll be less likely to lose it). It writes super smoothly, compared to any other pen I've tried. I have a bunch of Pilot G2s, but a lot of the times, they just won't write for whatever reason, or the writing looks very scratchy. That never happens with the Uni Jetstream. The ink also dries super quickly. For a test, I wrote in my moleskine and when I was done writing the sentence, I tried to smudge the ink, but it was already dry. The grip feels really nice, and so does the weight on the pen. The center of mass is closer to the front of the pen, as opposed to the middle with the normal Jetstreams, so if you're used to spinning your pen while you write or work, there will be a little bit of adjustment, but it feels really nice in your hand when you write. Overall, I couldn't be happier. The pen writes well and the ink dries fast, so it's already better than most pens on the market. The Grip is a little cherry on top.
