The LCD display is large enough for seniors to see clearly.
I bought a black pedometer for my husband and a white one for me so we wouldn't get them mixed up. I must say setting up the personal data took me awhile to do as the buttons are very small and becoming familiar with the different ones needed to set it up can be confusing while reading the instructions at the same time. On the white pedometer I used a black sharpie lightly over the buttons in order to see the words on each one as each letter or symbol is engraved into the buttons, that worked well. Once you get it set up and used to what the different readings are it is a no brainer. I find it is most accurate when I clip it to the side of my shoe at the ankle. The clip is very secure and it has not fallen off while walking. When I walked with it on my waist, my distance was way less than my husband's on the same walk; when worn on my shoe our distance walked was relatively close. If I ran I probably would not trust it to stay on my shoe but it would probably be accurate when worn on my waist running because of the greater impact while running. For the price it's a great pedometer with all the memory and readings it provides. I'm definitely going to purchase more for Christmas gifts.

Doesn't work
It does not record steps. The only way it works if you slam it down on the table for 10 times. I walked around the block three times. Each time I placed the U-Track step counter at a different position. First was on my hip clipped to the upper coin pocket of my pants. Counted nothing! The second go around I attached it to my thigh right above my knee. Still counted nothing. The last go around I attached it to the top of my sock. Still it did not count any steps. That is when I slammed it down on the table top and found that it requires a much greater force to get it to actually count. It is clearly not able to count steps. I am very disappointed. Guess that in this case you do get what you pay for. Not worth returning. Gave it to my tot to play with.

The rest button on front is in a bad spot.
I parallel tested the meter against another meter and found it was registering less steps. That prompted me to manually count steps and when I checked it after 28 steps. it registered 28 steps. Thats a good thing however, my problem with this meter is that the meter will mysteriously reset back to zero and the jury is still out on why that is happening. I suspect that the rest button is located in a bad place where it is easily reset to zero when one's clothes or other gear rests against the reset button. The RESET button on the front of the meter should on the back behind the clip so its less likely to be mysteriously reset to zero. ALSO, I bought 1 of these meters for a heavy set friend and it failed to count steps although, it counted steps when I put it on me. Could his belly fat be weakening the meter from properly monitoring his steps. I told my friend to further test it and get back to me. If the manufacturer is interested in my further investigation, they can reach out to me thru my Amazon account.Ed GrossmannFolsom, PA

Simple but efficient.
Finally found one that gives you all required information and at a reasonable price. A bit slow to set up with all the buttons to push, so far all is 100% feed back. Will be interesting to see how long battery(s) last. Happy walking.

resets too often
I like this item attached to my belt. Seems accurate, has large display, automatically resets at midnight for the next day. However, as I am wearing it during the day, it often resets itself, erasing the cumulative total for the day, making an accurate account of a total days mileage wrong. My guess is that the reset button is designed to sit too high making it easy to rub on clothing, seat belts, and body. Very frustrating

Not my fav
I could not figure out how to get it to work. Maybe I'm just stupid.

Lost distance
Ok, I wanted this to work; but it did not. All I wanted was something simple to count steps. It did count steps for each time you walked but did not store any previous steps. I understand it could be lack of knowledge on the user; which is an issue because I wanted something simple. I had a couple of others look at it and they did not understand either. There are small pin like buttons on the back and things on the front. Way to complicated. I could spend my time better by walking!

Small, easy to use and accurate.
Just what I need for our step-challenge at work. I don't like using my phone because I don't always have a pocket for it and lose steps. This pedometer has worked great. It's very accurate and easy to use. It's also small and easy to hook to my clothes (but you can't tell I'm wearing it). I paid a little more than I did last time I bought a pedometer, but it was worth it because it has worked accurately and consistently unlike less expensive types I have tried. I'm very happy with my purchase.
