Works as you'd hope.
As for now I am giving this helmet 5 stars. I was worried about the auto tint and how effective it was so I used this helmet for about 5 min, praying that since it was a cheaper helmet I would not burn my eyes! No eye issues what so ever, its been roughly 18 hours so i think im good. Helmet worked great. The fit was nice and very comfortable. I cannot speak for the battery as of yet but for the first use this helmet worked perfect. The only thing I did not like was the protective film that was placed on the plastic cover for shipping. I had to remove the cover completely from the helmet to remove this film. Other than that, zero complaints. I would recommend this to a friend. We'll see how long it lasts.....

Great welders mask
This mask works great right out of the box. Fit well with a little adjustment and has controls for darkness etc

Great for the price really
The lense is unbelievably clear, probably more clear than my Lincoln 3550. The head gear is just ridiculously cheap and crummy

Welding helmet
Used for my sons welding class. His teacher says it's a very safe helmet. Son says it's comfortable and gets the job done keeping my face safe for welding.

Weld helmet review
Excellent welding hood. Would recommend to anyone doing any DIY welding projects.

It’s a nice welding hood but cheap quality
I bought this hood about a month ago and it worked great for the 1st month. However I work at a company that requires me to flip hood off and on so after a month of use, one of the straps broke and now can’t be used. In this case it’s a decent hood but you get what you pay for

amazing for the money
I had a Hobart self-darkening helmet that was an absolute POS compared to this. I could never see what I was welding, thought maybe there was something wrong with it right from the start. This helmet is 100 times nicer. Huge viewing area, no darkening lag, doesn't over darken, and I can see exactly what I'm doing. Night and day difference. I haven't even tried any of the adjustments, just used it however it was set when I got it. It comes with a few replacement lenses, and an extra battery. Head strap adjusts nicely. The tension buttons on the side might be a bit delicate--I'm afraid to crank down on them and it tends to flop down when I don't want it to because I tape a high inensity bicycle light to the top to help visibility. The head pice is also kind of deep--I have a small head and if I let it settle all the way it hits my glasses. These aren't really complaints--just observations. Killer deal, I can't imagine a helmet 6 times the price would be signicantly better.

Works well, got here fast
So far works great. Tends to kind of slip on my big head though.
