Kiwi Pro Slice Peeler (Pack of 2)

I bought this to slice my green papaya for Thum Mak Hoong (Lao Papaya Salad). Worked like a champ! The first few slices came out like crinkle-cut chips, but as long as you change your angle as you slice, it comes out perfectly. If you have not tried Thum Mak Hoong, I highly recommend you get one of these slicers and give it a try!

Works pretty good, fast. Used it to grate cucumber to make tzatziki. Also used to grate carrot for rice bowl.

Kiwi Pro Slice Peeler. Love it! I bought this specifically for green papaya salad. This was recommended by a food influencer Thai chef for green papaya salad. I could not find this anywhere in my Asian market, and we have many here! It did come out, like long grated papayas chips; but if you grate over and over on one spot you will get nice julienne slices. However, I actually liked the chipped-julienne slices because it was able to pick up the sauce much better. Look at my papaya salad picture, it looks great and tasted yummy!! Yes, there were papaya chips but it really looks fine and still chewable! It does take time to grate but this grater makes the process very fast! Next time I make a salad, I am going to cut several places into the papaya then grate? At first I was bothered about the long chips; however , Once you put all the other ingredients like tomatoes and green beans etc, the chips looks fine next to the julienne slices! Very happy with this product! The quality is sturdy. Sharp. Easy to hold. Lightweight and fits comfortably in my hands. And, Easy to clean! I’m so glad I ordered this grater! I can use it for other vegetables, too!

Used this to julienne carrots and daikon radish, but it doesn’t work. The Kiwi pro slicer I received is sharp but it does not julienne separate pieces. Sadly it only slices whole pieces with ridges on one side. Disappointed I received a flawed product. They need better quality control.
