It works just fine. It’s not overly bright, but when positioned to the side of the backdrop, it reduces shadows quite a bit which is what I was looking for. It has multiple sendings of cool or warm light, that is nice. This is a good option for some at home family pictures or Christmas card images or whatever. Not pro quality, but really good for enhancing some amateur pictures.

TERRIBLE quality, as soon as I opened it a plastic parts was broken, and a screw flew off, is not stable either it moves a lot, and it’s terrible hard to assemble, not even a single video explaining, I’m returning this. Do not waste your money

Takes up quite a bit of floor space because of the tripod. Not as tall as I thought it would be (my fault). I run live auctions and am looking down at my phone if I get close. Nor is it as bright as I would have liked. However, for the price it is a great starter ring light.

this was a good cop! im a barber. the legs worried me a lil, but after setting it up i was happy. i dont plan on moving mine much so i cant speak on durability if you're moving around with it. But to be fr, if i did mobile services i would buy two of these, one for the shop and specifically for on the go!

(updated review 03/03/24): Connected the halo light to a new charger and the light lit up like it was supposed to. Whew! Updated rating from 1 star to 5 stars (Original review 03/02/24): Tripod was delivered earlier this week and I unboxed today Saturday. Unfortunately when I plugged in the light and turned it on, the light only flickered :( It wouldn’t stay on at all. That was a bummer. This will be sent back on Monday and I’ll try another brand.

This thing is janky cheap plastic garbage, but it serves its basic purpose. It saved me going for a passport photo session, so it paid for itself immediately. I just wouldn't buy it if I planned to use it on a regular basis, the extruded metal legs are flimsy (maybe 0.25mm thickness on the metal), and all of the remaining plastic pieces are so light and flimsy, they may as well be hollow. The camera mount base and iphone attachment at the top wobble in place with the slightest touch.

Received but now broken not working innlesss than a month. Just stopped working so suddenly.

Light works well. Easy to set up and use as well as disassemble. Adjustable legs are useful, but the slightness of them make it unsturdy.

Broke within the first year of use.

Light is bright and the remote works perfectly with your phone. Only thing I would change is the phone mount. It's a bit flimsy. The color options are nice so you don't get white out issues.
