These were so cheap and difficult to keep upright. There wasn't a plug to retain water or sand at the bottom so they just fell over. We through them away!

You have to put sand in the base or they will not stand up sturdy. Water in base does not work, water will leak out.

These stanchions are easy to assemble and easy to use. Set up takes only a few minutes to get all 8 assembled. It's a few pieces that screw in together. The base is wide enough that these will stand sturdily on their own but you can add extra weight to the based by filling with sand which can make them more difficult for people to move and less likely to tip over if knocked into or played with. The retractable belts attach quickly and easily to the other posts so you can easily use them to block and open a line entrance for example. These are great for directing lines and helping with crowd control and you can add signs to the top to further establish directions such as "enter here" or "have ID ready" or whatever message is relevant to your needs.

It took me hours to fill them with sand just for them to not hold up and lean over, I was unable to use them and highly disappointed. I am returning as is with sand in them cause it will not beast to remove the sand from them.

So we began filling sand in the circle weight containers that go under the metal circle for the bottom and sand begins coming out thru several pinholes in the base. This happened on 6 of the bases. I really needed to install these so I went ahead and kept them. I used super glue and gorilla tape to try to close up the holes to keep sand from pouring out. Once we got that done, put it all together and set them up. Surprise - the sand weighted bases (which we filled completely) still do not support the stanchions so went you connect the retractable line, they lean and look sloppy. I would love to return it as it is definitely not worth what I paid, especially considering the repairs I had to make to it to just get them up and they still do not work properly, nor support the pull of the retractable line. Poor quality for sure. Needs heavier weights to hold it upright and make it more sturdy.

The base of these is too light even when filled with sand. They tip over when you connect more than one together. Had to weigh down the base with additional sandbags.

Waste of money, they are not weighted enough to stand when using the straps.

We put sand instead of water and they are not that sturdy. They come loose when kids play on them in line
