Midwest Products 6044 Balsawood, 1/8 x 1/8 x 36-Inch

Got my balsa strips 10 days after ordering... broken in half. Both the box and its contents were broken right in the middle. I contacted the seller and they sent out a replacement only to have the same exact result. I even told the seller the box was bent in half and damaged upon arrival without any packing material. I ordered 36 inch strips, instead got a slew of broken 12-24 inch strips. I'll just have to pay double the price locally for whole strips.

I was a little on the fence about buying my balsa wood from here for two reasons. First was the mixed reviews that the previous two people left. Second was the fact that the picture was misleading and didn't match the description of the product. I decided to take a gamble though and I lucked out on this one. Got exactly what I paid for (36 strips of balsa wood that were 1/8 X 1/8 X 36 inches). No issues or complaints. All was good. I would buy from them again.

Received only one piece, not a bulk pack, and even the one piece was broken, if Midwest Products monitors the reviews here, this has been reported by others, I thought it was just a fluke, guess not, will be contacting customer support to have this corrected. I am a Science Olympiad coach with state competition coming up in a couple of weeks, so this needs attention NOW.

I not sure why the first reviewer only got a single strip, but I got 36 strips as advertised. It is balsa wood strips, just like I expected. The price is a little high, but I got it in a day, which is what I wanted.

Only one 1/8 x 1/8 strip comes in the box. even though the description seems to indicate otherwise. You can purchase a single strip of balsa wood in any hobby shop for less than .50CDO NOT BUY THIS ITEM!

Packaging was great. Balsa strips were useful. Will buy again.

Only received one stick of balsa when the original product description said there should be 36 sticks that were 1/8 x 1/8 x 36 inch. The cost represents what 30 sticks should cost.
